I got 8 of my friends to refund the game; I'll continue the good work until this gets addressed.

I guess you play with Sheep?

You mistook me with someone else. I have never played the full game, so I am not gonna cry if there would never be a major improvements and fixes for GR: Wildlands, and I am not buying empty promises, either.

There must be a mistake. I have a season pass so I could get more of Ghost Recon Wildlands. Instead I'm staring at DLC that seems to be "Just Cause 3.1".

That'll teach me for getting a season pass.

This is a game after-all, so you shouldn't be taking it that seriously in the first place. The main story is really cool and I've not experienced any repetition yet, which I was afraid I would. I'm probably about 80 percent complete so far, and that's pretty good for not experiencing the "same old" that games like this typically suffer from. Most of you have mentioned it, the open world environment is amazing, weapons have a nice feel to them, and enemy AI act as close to normal as they can.

The only issue I have with the game is how the vehicles perform. Hopefully that'll be addressed soon.

I see a lot of posts here regarding character customization, both our main character and the friendly AI. We're not playing Barbie and Ken here, so why???

You all need to settle down. I, for one, am loving the game so far.
The base game is good. Flawed, but good. Anyone with any experience with any part of the subject matter would tell you that it could be better in terms of execution.

They read, and comment from time to time. Unfortunately, the comments come from community reps and are generic.

I know for sure that I gave constructive criticism, especially after I was invited to and attend E3 and the separate Ubisoft event last June. Over the course of development, we were presented with these various lines from Ubi staff:
1.) We will pass this along to the development team.
2.) Keep in mind the game is still under development, things can still change.
3.) The developers have a vision for the game, changes will be implemented only if they fit.

We talked about everything leading up to release - the need for realism, loadouts, stealth/social stealth, squad commands, helicopter flight controls...literally everything. All the topics, all of the discussions, were basically for nothing. I've no doubt that the ComDevs and Community reps/managers did their jobs and have relayed things to where they should go, but it seems that from that point forward nothing much seemed to happen.

Again, almost everything people critique about being bad or poorly implemented in Wildlands was talked about leading up to release. Will that change? Can it change? I highly doubt it at this point.
I don't have much hope either.

I disagree, Dan. We can all list the the things that didn't happen and didn't make it into the game, but the list of community requested features that did make it is much larger, particularly if you take as your reference, as I do, Future Soldier. That was the real crossroad for GR and the Devs have chosen the right path.

The number one thing we asked for, above all else was that gamers should know what they are buying. The result was an 2016 E3 gameplay demo that had a pretty lukewarm reception, a technical test and then both a closed and open beta with no NDA conditions. Along with our insistence that there should be no graphics downgrade I think the Devs have delivered on this. I don't think anyone can really complain that they bought a GR game that wasn't what they expected it be. It may not be what they hoped it would be, but the transparency was there. Except of course the season pass containing Narco Road, which has undone all the good work!

We asked for and got a much deeper level of customisation for the characters, but of course this is now viewed from the perspective of the AI customisation being missng and we did get gunsmith back. As for the gameplay, we asked for vehicles if the world was to be so big and we got them, but then complained that cars skid off a dirt track when doing 80 mph round a bend on the basis that GTA does let you do that. For all the effort that went into the vehicles, we're basically left with the absence of a separate Yaw control when flying being the defining feature in the minds of most.

We asked for squad control, but this is a miss for both you and me I know, but we did get a squad with some control at least in a game that was created for co-op. We asked for hard levels and reduced HuDs and we got these and we asked for high damage models and bullet drop. We got too much of that! We asked for PvP and we're getting that and we asked for proper support for keyboard and mouse and we got that. The 10% of the player base with 90% of the demands have been well served on that with improvements patched in. On that point we have had 3 patches to bring in improvements and we asked for that too.

All in all Wildlands didn't deliver on every aspect we requested, but in my opinion it is what the community generally wanted and but for three obvious shortfalls (Narco Road excepted) - AI control, AI customisation with meaningful load out choices with consequences and flying - it would be much better, in my view, than the original. It is much closer to the true roots of GR than FS, GRAW and GR2, none of which had much better team AI control in my opinion. For the GR brand it is closer than it is far, but all the attention, understandably, is on the distance to go not the distance travelled.

The OP has nailed how I feel about this game, but has done so in a slightly softer tone than I would have. Much respect. I just hope someone of consequence at Ubisoft reads this and listens. Are you willing to trade the respect of your previously loyal community and fans of the Ghost Recon/Tom Clancy universe for a few dollars. If this mess isn't put right, you may as well kiss the Ghost Recon franchise good bye because, congrats, you will have killed a golden goose.

If only half of the Feedback Thread is being added to the game.. pretty please. I also would love to read and hear more from Ubisoft about their current agenda. Are they all working on Fallen Ghosts? Adding Features? Fixing Bugs?

Ubisoft is indeed at a crossroad here. The game is pretty solid in its core (hot-join, sharing missions, vehicles, fast travel, cosmetics) and has massive potential to be an all-time hit, so i hope they understand this and not just blindly release another random DLC and then stop working on this title. The game lacks a lot of small things, for example a compass, a watch and a knife. And that's what i would consider standard for anyone being dropped off in the middle of Bolivia.
