Hi guys
Tonight I was going to finish the game, with about 96 missions played and after a couple of days break.
BUT, when i logged in and loaded the game, it was all in russian. Fine, that **** happens so I just changed the language.
Then I loaded the game.. wich all of a sudden said that my gameprogress was 10%. Ergo; All my progress is just gone.
And the character had a f****** russian flag as a patch.
Have I been hacked or what? Cant figure this **** out.
Please help.

Open Windows System Restore
Look for a date before the 23rd of April and restore to that date. Ubisoft doesn't keep your saves under My Documents so when you do the system restore it will put your saves back to that date
Go look here first BEFORE YOU START THE GAME AGAIN!!!
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\c6eaee10-2bc4-44cf-89d6-201cb33dd592\1771 and check the date of your two files "Save and Save.1" They should be before the 23rd.
OK now start the Uplay Launcher and go to settings UNCHECK CLOUD SYNC Before you start the game.
Start the game and load your save. It should be the correct one now.
OK close the game and RECHECK CLOUD SYNC.
Restart the game and when it asks what save to use Cloud or Local, Pick the local one.
Now you are back up and running.
In the future, do not log out of Uplay Launcher. If you stay logged in nobody can hack your account.
Hello i think my account got hacked as my account when i logged in after a while away it was in Chinese, not only that i now have a totally different character as mine was previously a man and now its a woman......

You know, Sunstunn, I had the BETA for PC. Now i don't remember if it was this account or my other, but anyway, i had it. I encountered this problem too. Now what i did was find my save files folders inside the PC ( the ones with the settings, progress etc.), made a backup, uninstalled the game with Uplay and then the folder with the saves after making the backup, then deleted from the Recycle Bin. Then I reinstalled the game, launched it, and then pressed new game. i played (you need to go at least to the 4rth autosave), and then i closed the game, and i went into the save folder. I deleted the new save that was inside, then again Recycle Bin, and then I put in the backup saves from the 1st installation. I then verified the game files, launched it and then it had the language I had, my progress from the first installation, the graphics settings and problem solved. Now why i copied the save file is because this is a game problem that verification of 1st installation didn't eliminate, and not a file problem.
