Broken? no. You couldnt keep someone locked down while dealing damage.

In your very first sentence you've shown that you don't know how the move was being abused. LOL. That's rare. A shugoki with good timing could use knockdown into Demon's Embrace with 100% lockdown. Rolling wouldn't even save you, you didn't have enough frames of leeway to pull of the move.

Youre right never heard or seen that, id like to though. Im sure if thats how it was being abused theres lots of videos on it.

I gathered that the charge/GB 50/50 was the issue. OOS knockdown-DE i know is possible with good timing, and Charge-knockdown-DE I figured would be possible with good timing, but not a lockdown as you say.

I quickly searched for this combo, could not find one mention of it anywhere. Maybe im searching the wrong wording? Ive looked at "Charge of the Oni 100% lockdown" "Shugoki Charge of the Oni Exploit" even "charge of the Oni to Demons Embrace" I have not been able to find one post or video on your claim.

Ya your claim is simply not possible. Youre saying you can Charge-Cancel-DE-Charge again-Cancel-DE again. And keep that going 100%lockdown until death? You cant even get a guaranteed light attack after DE...

It wasn't an exploit. We all know the developers are a little bad at definitions in the English language (not their first language). It was cancer. I do think it has been overnerfed.

Oni charge should do the following:
-NOT knockdown under normal conditions
-significant stamina damage
-knockdown when they are out of stamina

It's great that you think everything is searchable on youtube. That's fine, really. A bit naive to think someone would willingly blow up their strategy for winning on their main character. I don't know how many people you think play this game for everyone to be making videos lol. I've experienced this **** for 3 full rounds in a brawl, then watched it happened to my teammate. After my teammate started to complain, he just charged him 10 time in a row until he was thrown off a cliff. After watching it, I was able to charge -->DE fairly consistently. My timing for the 2nd charge was off, but I only tried for 2 matches. I don't record any of my game play because I play on PC it's not integrated like on ps4. Honestly, doesn't matter if you believe me because it's being fixed.

You mean its already fixed lol. Charge-DE ya that was obviously possible. And yes, someone finds an exploit, its not long until someone else finds out about it. Eventually it gets leaked because people want it to be fixed. Thats why you can find videos of just about every unlock tech. Even really minor ones. Charge-DE-Charge-DE-Charge-DE thats 100% lockdown, and 100% not possible. Like I said, you cant get a Light attack off after DE...how do you expect to unlock, sprint, and Charge into knockdown before someone can react. Just because you pulled it off, does not mean it was guaranteed
