    Getting back to the good

I know we have all had our disapproveals about the recent dlc, game mechanics issues, glitches, and so forth. A community manager for Ubisoft commented in Reddit's r/ghostrecon about how they do read about our concerns/ opinions for future content and do understand our disapproval of narco roads. He also said that they forward our ideas and disapprovals that receive high attention to the developers.

Ever sense the drop of narco roads we have all voiced our disapproval and it has been heard along with our other complaints. At this point if we keep voicing how much we dislike narco roads we are beating a dead horse. They know we are unhappy and I am assured by what I have seen in the Reddit thread they will not make the same mistake with future content.

I just want this forum and other communities to get back to coming up with fun and bad *** ideas for future content.

On a side note: not to get anyone's hopes up or upset anyone at the same time, but he also made it sound as though fallen ghost will be dropping pretty soon as to cover up the negative results of narco roads. He also made it sound that info on pvp will be released soon as well but it did not sound like the pvp would be dropping at the same time as fallen ghost. So good news fallen ghost is not too far away but bad news for those excited for pvp it probably won't drop at the same time.

On the positive side for those excited about pvp, the longer they spend developing it and working to make it fun the better it will turn out. Personally I would rather wait extra for a fun pvp experience than have a half assed one thrown at us.

Thank you for reading my lengthy post and happy hunting ghosts!

Oh, ok... thank you. Thank God that is not another blanket statement we have not heard before... for a second I got worried.

I wouldn't set you alarm, watch or phone for a set time or date if I were you... just saying.

Well, I'd like it better if they said they would hold fallen ghosts a bit to actually work on it.

    DONT RUSH FALLEN GHOSTS FFs.

Fallen Ghosts seems going to be their big show. They keep using promo arts that's nodding to the theme of Fallen Ghosts, while not a glimpse of Narco Road art to be used as promo other than for Narco Road DLC itself.

So yes, I'm glad they are aware. I'm alright with NR and understand what the designer of this particular DLC would like to achieve. But seriously, NR shouldn't have been here - it could have been so much better. In this case, Ubi has been fair considering they have shown the trailer and info on what Narco Road going to be a while back. It's the pre-orderers' own stupidity if they still insist on pre-ordering the Season Pass despite of the info shown.

I like what Iker says here: "there are dozens of factors that the majority of people are not aware of. Game vision, budget, workload, deadlines, team organization... and implementing new features into a big game is not easy and requires weeks of planning and testing to be sure that everything works as intended."

So cheers to Iker. I hope there's some sort of 'compensation' for NR. And I hope Fallen Ghost will be awesome.

I've enjoyed playing Narco Road, regardless of what anyone else feels about the DLC. The only thing I would change in it is the "Electro Challenges, being tied to getting your intel. I would make it, a separate award for doing them. So that way if you just wanted to do the missions. You could and forget about the challenges all together.

Lets just leave this thread as non-argumentative as possible for now. One of the few non-toxic threads about this topic that I've seen on the forums so far

Keeping this purely objective, the main issues were:
    - The new DLC seems to take away stealthy options and the 'do it your way' approach
    - Monster trucks and llama bikes are not particularly in keeping with the Ghost Recon vibe. People attracted to the gameplay in GRW vanilla were turned off by arcade elements such as drifting, jumps and twitter followers
    - The expansion was standalone, not additional content for the core game
    - The new weapons were just reskins of existing weapons from the core game

I could go on, and I know that jsocfrog you have posted pro views in many of the other threads decrying GRW:NR, so suffice to say opinions vary and most players seem to be of the opinion that the DLC was a complete miss. To each their own, but personally I would like to see the future DLC returning to a similar style of gameplay to the vanilla game, and treat GRW:NR as a pothole only.
