you guys can argue that its not the way it was meant to be played, you can be upset that people don't play it that way and you can even try and encourage people to do so.

The fact is that most people don't like playing brawl that way. So they just won't be doing that. If you want a true 2v2 that badly then I suggest finding another group of like minded people and do some custom matches. That way you can play how you wanna play.

I am obviously talking about when one person dies and it becomes a potential 2v1 situation. Don't put words in my mouth to try and make your argument lol

Most people prefer an accurate test of skill rather than a simple win because of numbers.

You're literally not understanding the point?

If you're going to play a game mode named brawl, expect a brawl.

85% of the brawls I play, the other team always jumps in on a fight.

Meaning those 15% are the only ones on these forums complaining about the game type.

Seriously dude, if you want a 1v1 in a brawl perhaps you should be the one starting custom games instead of getting on here and complaining on the people who play it the correct way.

That is where you are being more than a little unreasonable in my view. Why should people who want to play the game as it was designed lose out on the xp and faction resources for doing so when it is others who want to play the game in an entirely different way causing the issue? Why not have the honour crowd do the custom matches to play it their way instead?

I am understanding the point perfectly.

You guys want Brawl to be a Brawl and you want everyone else to play it that way as well.

What I am saying is the reality of the situation is that most people simply don't want to do that. I am on PS4 myself and I have only had 9 instances ever of people playing Brawl like you are talking about. Its just not something that everyone likes to do.

I also don't understand why you can't just play Duel if you want a 1v1, that's what duel is there for.
I enjoy the 1vs1 playstyle and I"ve defended it on several other forums with this topic before yet I'll continue to defend it until UBI gives us another mode that provides a similar outlet for our desire. BASICALLY 1vs1 players prefer Brawl as 1v1 because it provides more diversity and better maps. Instead of queing up for duels where we have only 1 opponent on cramped maps we get the possibility of facing two with the second opponent being even extra challenging if our first battle was hard won. There are currently 3 modes that have majority of group ganking playstyle. Dominion, Skirmish, and Elimination. NOW you do have gear stats in those modes so I understand you wanting to play mode without stats; yet why do you feel like you have the play the mode where its still the chaotic attacking and facing multiple opponents. Do you enjoy putting together disabling combos with your partner? Basically wanting to attack as a team means wanting to win by using advantage, and if that is your aim then having the advantage of gear stats should be your preference in the other game modes. Let Brawl be played as a better version of Duel. You have 3 other modes that meet your play style. Why should we only get 1??.

In MY personal opinion people should just play how they wanna play. If the other team complies then hurray. If not then oh well maybe next match. That is my personal take.

I suggested the custom match as an alternative. Not saying "Gtfo and go play custom if thats what you want" just saying its another option. Obviously Honor players have that option as well.

Realistically though we both know thats not gonna happen lol

    I understand what you're saying.

Majority of Brawl games I join are pro 1v1. Those games usually end up in a 2v2 or a 2v1 against me while my partner watches. I think what will save Brawl is ranked. The moment ranked brawl is introduced, everyone will throw their honour books out the window.

Only ever having 9 instances of getting jumped in brawl mode wouldn't give you the idea to post on the forums.

Listen, right now it's basically opinion.
More so with favor on my side of playing BRAWL as a BRAWL.

I understand people do not like playing like that, but what right does it give you to complain on the people who play it the correct way?

Do you see what I'm getting at?

I think you will be Astonished how many people still play with Honor in ranked. I personally know people who will take it EVEN MORE seriously at that point, because they won't want to achieve a high rank by getting cheesy 2v1 wins and will consider it a hollow victory.

I myself will most likely feel that way too and will continue to 1v1 whether my teammate wants to or not. Its just how I prefer to play dueling modes like that.

To people like those who play for Honor and myself included in that we don't wanna get a win at any cost. We wanna feel like we EARNED the win. And I swear to god nothing in this entire game is more satisfying to me than when I am facing a 1v2 in Brawl and the other guy waits.

    I beat the first guy.

I have very little health left.

Then I beat the second guy and get the win.

Nothing else in this game is so satisfying as that to me and it the very reason why I play that way.

I like playing a fair 2v2 fight. It takes a level of personal skill and team cooperation to win a game. It's chaotically fast paced and it takes skill at the same time. A 2v2 is not a gank. It's a fair fight. If it ends up in a 2v1 then you need to do a better job at protecting your teammate. I don't see why I should be forced to play a 4v4 game mode in hopes of stumbling across a scenario where a 2v2 will happen when there's a perfectly fine game mode that is for 2v2s already. It's a bit hypocritical for you to complain about some minor issues Duel has to justify yourself playing Brawl as a 1v1 and then turn around and tell me to go play another gamemode that fits my playing style.
