    DeadEye has to be looked into...

    Do not you think that this gearset has to be removed from the game or modified?

    It is nonsense to see the gearset, which not just encourages body shots, but gives opportunity to easily destroy opponents at basically any range in a blink of an eye. You just have to adjust sensitivity of your mouse and practice a bit.

    If Deadeye is okay as it is now, why Sentrys Call is designed the other way around? It requires to aim for head to get a damage bonus and you have to hit a target 3 times to get only 15% bonus. In contrast, Deadeye gives you a bonus (which is usually over 100%) every time you hit a target.
    Predators Mark requires 10 consecutive shots of the same target to trigger the bonus damage. Striker is also based on similar principle and punishes for missed shots...

    Yes, but I think it needs both a buff and a nerf. A slight decrease in damage output for Semi automatic snipers and bringing back the shoulder aim procc.

    A bit unclear. Do you want semi-automatic rifles to have even less damage? At the same time, they have no accuracy and the ammunition quantity is very small.
    Can it be easier to withdraw them from the class of sniper rifles?

    First thing to do: Remove the body multiplier when using DeadEYE. It currently is something like a 40% damage increase to a players body. (at least when I tested it with SMG's)

    Secondly I would only grant the 100% crit for the first bullet of the magazine. This will severly change the damage output on SVD's and other Semi-Autos with deadEYE while keeping it usable with a bolt action.

    If I am honest DeadEYE would be better off if they just switch it to a Pistol set. While ADSing with a Pistol you gain 100% crit chance. Due to the pistols not having that many mod options for extra damage it wouldn't be as strong as with a sniper and would actually encourage players to use pistols as a main armament (aside from shield builds).

    Imagine someone with good aim rocking a 357. Magnum as DeadEYE. But that's just me dreaming because I can't really think of a solution for this broke beyond repair set.

    As a pistol set it would become OP indirectly. I already predict a massive influx of shield DPS players downing people in X shots of a pistol while being immortal from the front.

    To clarify imo:

    • Either lower CHD % to match the 1.5 body damage on Semi Auto's
    • Or only 50% CHC (every 2nd shot?) on Semi Auto's


    In exchange, allow shoulder aim to procc DeadEye and experiment with this in the PTS.

    A Magnum at 9K firarms hits a player head for around 30K. Body is 18-20K.

    Crit damage mods are not as plenty as on snipers so you could only get crit damage on the muzzle. I guess critical hits would then be around 28-32K with a magnum. Meaning you still need more than 6 shots to kill most players.

    And unless you use a shield the Magnums also has horrible reload and stability issues.

    And if you invest that high into firearms your shield will get melted in a second. And Pistols also have a much lower optimalrange so you can't simply 3-click someone across the map.

    I'm telling you, this community will make it broken, they will break pistols and shields with your suggestions.

    Frankly I stand with my suggestions above or a complete rework.

    CHC is an extremely valuable (and also skill decreasing due to making body hits highly efficient) stat, if not the most valuable one in PvP for damage, with CHD being 2nd and completely dependent on it. Not to mention a DeadEye user doesn't need Savage, allowing him to boost his survivability or damage through other means even further.

    Complete rework for me, i think they should stop reward with garanteed crit, imo it was the issue all along with deadeye or even when looking at SEEKR and where it ended up for that.

    Why not having a thing between striker and sentry that reward you for precision like " while using a sniper rifle, the more headshot you chain the more bonus X (headshot dmg) you get, you loose everything when missing/body shot"
    Sentry/striker can be used with multiple weapons, sentry allow misses benefit to your entire team, striker bonus decrease with time etc so it could be fair to have a good bonus that stack, with no time limit and possibly with no bonus limit, that doesn't give your team any bonuses.

    Add some recoil to SVD to prevent accurate spamming.

    Deadeye should work with bolt action snipers only. It's totally ruining the experience of the game everyone running around with SVD's spamming shots at each other. The SVD is fine and works as intended in my opinion, however, you shouldn't be able to have 100% crit on each SVD shot.
