After careful consideration, I may just purchase SGW3, GRW didn't cut it!

This isn't an attempt to swear and shout out my utter disgust at the recent Narco Roads DLC, but to simply say "Ubisoft failed to deliver what we were promised, it being the 1st military tactical shooter".

Before I rant, please know that I paid for this which I will continue to play the main story which I haven't finished yet, DLC forget it, probably not.

I have already accepted the fact of being the mug who went full ****** (movie quote) to purchase the Gold Edition after playing both the Closed and Open Beta's, I should have learned my lesson from AC Unity DLC (strike 1) and The Division DLC (strike 2), so simply GRW's Narco Roads DLC is my 3rd strike, I will no longer purchase a Ubisoft game on release and wait a few months until all is revealed, I'm patient and can wait. Did you even read our feedback notes form the Beta?

With that said, I gave narco roads a try, I gave it a full 6 hours of playing which made my blood boil on how many times I died WHILST DRIVING IN THE STUPID MISSIONS on Extreme!!! lol

Looks like I'm shouting now, oops...

.......I'm going to stop before I type swear words, i think people have said enough in the other threads, I'll finish off by saying that I never even considered EVER purchasing Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, but with the direction GRW is going, it looks like the ideal alternative for my tactical shooter needs, talk about timing, we'll find out soon i guess.

Ubisoft, just a few more things, GRW has no breaching tools, no doors to breach except for a few we can kick in or on side missions (Jesus, I'm sure Bolivians have doors on their buildings and houses, c'mon dev's). GRW has no smoke grenades (necessary), no NVG googles or night vision modules for weapons. Bolivia has no wind apparently, some of these long shots I've been doing are silly, pure silly, no adjustments on high powered scopes, the list can go on.

But one thing is apparent, GRW has a Lama bike THAT FARTS F@%$ING RAINBOW F@%$ING COLOURS OUT OF ITS F@%$ING BACKSIDE GHOST RECON!!!!! GHOST F@%$ING RECON, oh my god.

    Unfortunately I swore, I apologies.

Oh and by the way, the ATPIAL laser module also has a infrared illuminator on it in real life, FYI.....FYI, The game gets dark, where are our torches??? attention to detail.

I swear, Narco Roads made me look at it and after careful consideration, I just purchased it, it has all the things GRW didn't implement unfortunately.

I've played the previous Sniper Ghost Warrior games and they were FAR from perfect and very story driven, leaving less to skill and more to learning the missions. That being said, likely in the same boat as Ghost Recon: Wildlands, both new taking on the open world approach. So you should remain open minded if you expect that game to be something you've drawn up in your head. It's very likely no game will ever match up. Especially seeing how this is new to certain game franchises. While I don't agree with some things done in Narco Roads, I have an incredibly hard time believing that they are scamming people out of money. They did what they wanted, which is the dream job. They had a vision and followed suit through any negative responses which is admirable. The approach Wildlands took was not going to please everyone, and that shows even more in DLC. We really shouldn't be surprised looking at the base game. I've had different thoughts on this topic myself, but, as I thought through it, honestly, I'm buying the DLC next week. Myself and friends will play through it for what it's worth. I got this game to play with friends, and that approach has been a blast anyway.

It is fun with friends and I'll continue to play it by myself too as I haven't finished the game yet. SGW3 seems a bit more technical which may cater my needs, we'll see, having options are good.

Sniper Ghost Warrior first two parts were absolutely horrible. If you're looking for a real tactical sniper sandbox, get Sniper Elite 4. That one is absolutely amazing, with great ballistics, wind and the AI is great too (stealth mechanics are absolutely awesome compared to GRWL, you really need to take sound into account and enemies have advanced search patterns). Especially on Hardcore mode it's extremely well executed. Sniper Elite 3 is also brilliant, though a bit older.

Ratings/reviews for SE4 are also very good.
