    Warriors Den - Livestream (Apr 21st)

    Lawbringer

    Hello, I have not noticed any changes to the lawbringer mechanics that was supposed to be on patch 1.05 on console. Any update on when the lawbringer buff will be arriving on consoles? Thanks.

    The Shugoki Oni Charge nerf is hilariously stupid. Calling it an exploit when it is literally in the advanced tutorial video. All you had to do was make you have to commit to it and only allow you to cancel after successfully hitting your opponent. Now you've nerfed the stamina, made us unable to cancel it and now it won't knock anyone down anymore. Is this move even worth using anymore? If this change goes through you may as well remove Oni charge from the game. Everyone expected the 50/50 to get nerfed but not everything else as well.

    I'm not even a Shugoki main and this still hurts.

    LB changes were added with Patch 1.05 which should now be available across all platforms. The console patch went live earlier this week.

    Thanks for the reply, has anyone verified this on console? Im still noticing that opponents can block a light atk after shove and if I parry someone im not guaranteed an impaling charge, I also dont feel a difference in atk speed. Am I alone on this? I thought these were some of the buffs he was getting.

    Light being blockable after shove is a bug according to Ubisoft.

    LB got a very small increase in attack speed to one or two attacks and a slight damage increase in damage to those moves. Impaling Charge can sometimes be blocked. Make Way animation is still broken so it's still a useless move. You can now get a side heavy of a Long Arm if you ever manage to land one that is

    LB got a small buff overall. He still has a lot of issues and is plagued with bugs. Now he is just mediocre at best, instead of trash.

    Raider buff?

    It's good to see all the balancing going on, but any idea when we will get more info on some form of raider buff or change? Raider is my favorite class and seeing all the changes in the game makes me eager to play again, but with all these changes more classes become viable, or at least more than they once were. Yet after a whole day of playing, I still find that once it comes to more experienced players, I am limited as a raider. Ive gone a full day of losing 1v1 as raider. So I figured it was me, but then I switched to warden and suddenly I'm not losing anymore. Raider isnt terribly underpowered, but in certain fights its clear he is at a disadvantage, which is a shame. My biggest hope is that he gets at least 1 new tool to his kit, or gets at least 1 more confirm so My hulking behemoth of a man can actually hit its target.

    I don't want to come off as complaining or anything, I genuinely feel that in higher levels of fighting, raider is not as viable due to his lack of tools. In most cases he can get outmaneuvered, which is the main issue. my lights are parried often, deflected, or even suffer the wardens up counter which of course destroys me. And lastly, his sprinting charge has about a 40% success rate of actually landing. In many situations is costs me a teammates life as I was unable to save them. Thanks for any reply or feedback, and keep up the good work. Love this game

    Guys, I take off my hat to connectivity patches. Thats what we do need.

    But I also want to talk about balancing. It's a mixed bag for me.

    Warden and shugoki nerfs are good. Yeah, you should not be able to just get free heavies from oni charge that was so easy to do, and you should not be able to just do anything you want with shoulder bash.

    What I don't really believe was a right balancing this time is orochi, pk, and raider.

    Orochi gets a move that is not gonna add anything to him, mark my words. No one is using deflects in any high skill play not because they could get hit out of it, I mean that too but mostly it's because parry is a better option and if someone baits your parry to feint and try to parry you then you can feint your parry and so on. The huge problem with deflects is that you actually have to have people hit you and no one will do that, everyone turtles, so if no one actually goes through with their attack, you can't deflect it. So over all this buff is useless as it is. Orochi still got only two options, top light and zone, and no safe openers.

    Pk, yeah she is described as fast but this is the problem with her, thats all. You can nerf anything you want on her, but as long as she can spam her lights at this speed, she will never be balanced. Also on your recovery thing. No one even uses light light and out, they use light light heavy feint light light, skipping the affect of your nerf all together. You did say that you wont nerf he attack speed because she is an assassin. Look at orochi, his side attacks are total lacklaster and he is an assassin, so why not buff his side attacks to be that fast too then? I mean he got no bleed, slowest dodges, and so on. You just can't balance pk as long as she has this attack speed.

    Raider, yeah, was not even mentioned and you guys said last time that you will buff him next patch. You did address that you will buff him but thats whats odd. Last dev stream you ignored anything asked on orochi and yet her gets a buff, a very useless buff but still. You talked about raider but have nothing for him.

    So over all a good stream but balancing is half way there. I am sorry but it feels like you really do not play your own game and kind of base your assumptions on what you see others do. To make it simple, every hero that does not have safe opener is a button tier for a reason. Except pk because her lights are just that damn fast that she breaks the turtle meta with it. So your options are, either give everyone super fast pk attacks, which would be broken as hell. Or give everyone some sort of safe opener. So that orochi and berserker don't have to feint all of their stamina away to get in one hit and then if their enemy just blocks and does not parry then they are just ****ed and have nothing.
