In a another game in my collection, I remember that a beta version was released to a limited number of people for testing. Those 'beta-testers' gave feedback relating to gameplay and bugs back to the developers. Just wondering if the creators of PF will be doing the same.

And if so, let me be amongst the first to volunteer...

Sakai, I suspect they are already in the beta test stage. I used to do quite a bit of beta stuff, everything from Win 98, ME, 2000, Xp Pro, and some stuff from a little outfit called Ubi <ggg.> I did the F1 beta stuff for years. My other addiction besides flight sims is racing sims <ggg.> Have no fear my friend, it will be FABULOUS! All the best, LongHorn

I think Oleg and Co. are also being careful, at the present time, with their beta testers. With the fiasco of a leaked beta patch "2.02" for AEP and all the furor it caused, I'm pretty sure Oleg is carefully screening all candidates for beta testing.

You are correct Sir. With amount of releases and patches that leaked in the past... Oleg is very careful lately.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

I doubt anyone but the mainstays that have worked with Maddox games for some time will see a beta test of PF.

Look at DOOM3, the full retail hit the P2P networks one day ahead of the store shelves and had over 30,000+ downloads before the night was over.
