Failed to synchronize, skip, game does not start up :( | Forums

I open the game through Steam.
The Uplay application says "Failed to synchronize"
I hit "Try Again" multiple times, same message
I hit "Skip", load achievements from the Cloud.
Steam says -Running. 10 seconds later, game simply does not load.

I've this repeated this which has given me hours to go on the forums and search for a solution to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have the same issue, Whenever I start the game, it says something like failed to synchronize and failed to upload the achievements to the Cloud. But, fortunately, when I clip the "skip" button, my game will start. But, it still really bother me whenever I start the game. Is there anything I can do?

same issue, completed everything in narco, got half the rewards, now my save game is gone.
