Decent critique of narco road from random youtuber

Pretty much in line with my opinion on the dlc.
I am in no way affiliated with this guy...just came across his vid, thought it was well put together, fair and that some of you might like to check it out.

Yeah I cant wait for all the offical reveiws, us gamers are not a stupid bunch....I bought GRW to play tac shooting, gain intel, recon, etc....not parade around as some ****ing rave dancing hombre. Ghost would not be a part of a operation like narco road....whole dlc doesnt make a bit of ****ing sense! Ubi better start paying for reveiws if they want to damage control, but us gamers with brains will call postive reviews on thier BS as well.

You essential play the role of Xander Cage from xXx. The theme of the DLC is so far removed from the base game.

    Narco road dlc

Dear ubisoft.iam a big fan fo tactical military games like PC arma 3. when i thought that you had made an brilliant military tactical shooter game with Ghost Recon Wildlands I was extremely happy.
Having said that, now you have released the DLC Narc o Road, and it looks like a cheap copy of the GTA online and to be honest honest you ****ed it up , is like a war comedy.
Please read the forums, YouTube, etc. Everyone is frustrated and criticizing what you have done. I hope you roll back to something more real than finding a Fluo Monster Truck every 10 meters. please return to the base. PLEASE
PD: Whats next??? homer Simpsons skin for weapons?

I won't pass judgement on Narco Road until I actually play it and judge for myself (game forums are generally the worst place to find out if a game, expansion or DLC is actually good or not), but the video answered/confirmed two things for me:

    1) Though the video still didn't answer whether Narco Road takes place in the same dimension/reality as Wildlands or is in separate one (ala the Undead Nightmare DLC from Red Dead Redemption), it at least answered that it does indeed take place after the end of Wildlands (with the creation of a new enemy faction made up of Santa Blanca defectors, meaning that it takes place after El Sueño was defeated at the end of Wildlands). Thank goodness that I finally got a real answer to that after never receiving a straight answer the few times I asked it in other threads.

    2) So I'm not the only one who's been wondering why the name of the main shadowy figure in the DLC (El Impossible) is pronounced by everyone in English rather than in Spanish.

Thank you very much for sharing this... I just uploaded a new video because I found out some other stuff that made me regret going so easy on the game for the latest DLC... you are more than welcome to check if out if you like!

Yes, it is in the same dimension as the Base game, but after you take down El Sueno, a new group (or 3 new groups) rise up to take over Santa Blanca. this is where you go and infiltrate Santa Blanca to take down the new leader. Not sure how you stay unrecognizable after all the mayhem you created in the base game, but I guess there is a reason behind that.

Yeah, I likened it to the bad dialogue and terrible screenplay of 2 Fast 2 Furious! Either they allowed a 13 year old to write the script for this DLC or someone really needs to start looking for a new job because I honestly feel like I just got crapped on with this DLC!

You have to create a new character for the DLC, so I guess that explains it.
