Gear Request - Grenade Launchers. What ever happened to Derrick Parker?

You might remember Derrick Parker. He used to tag along with you on your old Ghost Recon ops totting that 6-shot Milkor Grenade Launcher and raining hell and fury down on your enemies. Sure he had a fondness for shooting doorways and obstacles right in front of him and taking himself out. Did you care? 6-shot grenade launcher! Tell me you didn't play all the way through missions with just an SMG so just a couple time you could rain grenades down on folks with your own Milkor. You did, didn't you. I did ... I replayed those missions.

Gear Request: Add grenade launchers back to the game.

Single shot grenade launcher, similar to BT Gl-06
Side Rails, Bottom Rail, Foldable Stock, various scopes/sights. Come with 6 grenades, and you can add more with skill points.

Multi shot grenade launchers, similar to Milkor MGL
Side Rails, Bottom Rail, Foldable Stock, limited scopes/sights. Comes loaded with 6 grenades, and you can add more with skill points.
    Very long reload time.

RPG-7, modernized, similar to Airtronic RPG-7
Bottom rail, limited scopes/sights. Comes with 1 rocket, one additional rock with grenade launcher skill point.

    Other possibilities

Silent single shot grenade launcher, similar to Device DM
Folding stock, iron sights. Manually load GL, with option for 5 shot silent bolt action 9mm carbine.

LAW, single shot anti-tank/GL that can fit in a pistol slot.

Gameplay impact: Might need more missions requiring you to take out vehicles. Might need some BMP patrols, etc.

    Bring back the boom!

    JJ

    Oh Yes, Please.

near the end of the single player game I started carrying around 2 AR's one pre-configured to the M-203 just so I could switch on the fly to GL.

Yes! I have very little to use against a helicopter and it sucks -- I play with a Vector folded up in my secondary slot, so that I can pretend I only have one long gun (seriously, just *having* the option to unequip a gun is a no-brainer that I'm really sad they seem uninterested in giving us, since the code already exists in Ghost War!), so my rifle's not great when things get reeeeal loud, but it'd be nice to carry a single-shot grenade launcher instead.

I'd take one of these (I know this is just a toy but it it's a stock-short M79 mimic and it looks great!).

Stand alone grenade launchers absolutely should be a thing considering they were there in Future Soldier. I mean you already have the M203 and the M320 modeled in the game, all you really need to do is slap their stocks on them.

This is an epic idea. It'll fee up some handling on the rifles, it'll mean you can rock the LMG, SMG or sniper rifles and still keep anti-vehicle options and it'll help those who want the "one rifle" option.

Personally I'd lile to see some less-lethal rounds for it. Oh I need to intimidate the guy? Have a 40mm bean bag, now wait there while I kill your guards.

    Or some EMP grenades.
