I go every day in DZ and the last couple of days the DZ is again so full of cheaters (speedhackers, RPM and damage hacks,1 shotting with a Pakhan, shooting through walls and objects, etc...) It is just laughable again, cheaterville it is! I really wonder if Ubi/Massive is doing something about that, I report them ingame, but I run into them again and again, I see no action being taken! They don't even hide it anymore! I had a speedhacker again today zooming around players and 1 shotting us, had a guy with a Pakhan that shot a group of 4 down through walls and trucks, when all were in full cover! I was downed by a rogue that took no damage at all when I emptied my full mag of my M4 in his head from like 4 meters away and then he killed me. Nice going Ubi/Massive, you seem to be doing jack sh!t at the cheater problem! When the Division servers ever go offline, I can tell you for sure now, I will NEVER ever buy any multiplayer game anymore from Ubi/massive. It is just not worth all the frustration, not gonna give any money to that anymore. I think it is time to move on to a new (singleplayer) game for me now.
You don't stop cheating with patches and fixes, you stop them with bans.Originally Posted by Babou.. Go to original post
I Completely agree with Babou.
I was playing amlost the entire day in the DZ with friends.
We had to change the servers 4 times to dodge cheaters without any chance.
RPM, TP, Aimbots and wallhacks. it actually feels the fair players are the loosers in this game
There is more protection to cheaters from ubisoft than protecting there customers who play legit.
Removing youtube videos in this forum where you see people obv. cheating and calling it "name and shame", i still see the same hackers which i saw in 1.3.
if they really bring out a "Division 2" my community wont buy this game for sure.
I have literally had cheaters who fully ADMIT to cheating in the evidence I provide, and they still have not been banned weeks later. Ubisoft for some reason has an obsession with protecting cheaters, whether it be from hacks or exploits.
I know I used to be on a team from another online game. I came onto the project mid-project and noticed a LOT of cheating. I provided a solution that would eliminate a TON of cheaters. The producer denied implementing the process and said that cheaters were "paying customers", and cheating was so rampant, that he saw it as if we removed cheaters, we'd remove too much of their player-base.
This was literally the producer's point of view.
I left the project after that response. Months later he was eventually fired, and shortly after that, the game effectively died. This game had to do with a sort of criminals vs cops gameplay.
Well, i just took a look on the internet about "the division cheats" and found out that is actually true.... still cant belive it but on the first offence with cheats you get a 14 days ban, 2nd time you get a permanent ban which means for my understanding "feel free to hack, if you got catched dont worry, they give you a 2nd chance".
Quote:
"We have detected recurring actions on your account which are in direct breach of our Code of Conduct. Please be aware that we have taken the necessary steps to preserve the play experience for others and this has resulted in you receiving a temporary ban. You will therefore be unable to play the game for 14 days. Any future breach of the code of conduct will lead to a permanent ban."
(i dont want to release the source of this as i wont promote that stupid website but google is your friend)
i was always a person defending the division and the dev team for doing a great job. not just on the forums aswell in my community and earned a lot hate for that on both.
i think its time now to change my view on the division and move on soon like half of my friendslist already did.
Aye, originally there were no consequences for cheating or hacking for months. They almost had everything client-side, so you had players flying, teleporting, running extremely fast, and it was all entirely 100% supported and encouraged by Ubisoft (doing nothing about cheating is in fact encouraging it). Eventually, after about 90% of the playerbase left (on PC, at least), they finally decided from allowing free use of hacks to "second chances" for cheating\hacking. As I said before, Ubisoft has a strange obsession with encouraging hack-use in The Division.Originally Posted by FAC-Miiu Go to original post
Ubisoft does not care already made their money. They say cheat away I wish they had a PVE Dark zone no one cares about being a RougeOriginally Posted by FAC-Miiu Go to original post
thats true.Originally Posted by the1foryou2 Go to original post
i dont think a PVE darkzone would be a good idea. the concept of the darkzone is actually good as it is. it would be a lot of fun without those cheaters all over the place. but thats all off topic
