    I think smaller buffs like the following would be good to get us Conqs out of our shells:

    To make Conq a 'Heavy Hitter'

    1) Final Argument's finishing Heavy should be Uninterruptible or Unblockable
    2) Charged Heavy should drain your Stamina down to a certain percent, let's say 50%.
    3) Infinite Chain's damage should increase with each swing after the second.

    To make Conq have "Strong Defense":

    1) Add a move where a Conqueror can mitigate incoming damage by a certain percent while on the ground (not that hard to pull that dang shield up to your face so the opponent can't smash it in)
    2) Conqs should be able to Counter Guard Break while charging the Heavy.

    If all of this is too strong, make some soft stat nerfs like lower Health or Stamina, increase Stamina costs, etc.

    One can dream, right?

    Maybe there is an other possibility.
    I want to talk about the gifts of the conq.
    Most of them are getting health or making damage with the shield.
    How it would be if for example instead of making damage with the shield (gift level 2), he gets a longer range with the spiked mace?
    Shieldbash wouldnt make additionally damage, on the other hand he has more range to be more aggressiv and a better chance to hit enemies after a parry.

    Or instead of getting health continuously, if he is not in a fight (gift 4)
    He gets a second bullet at his spiked mace making more damage with light Attacks.
    Double hits.


    - less damage with shield
    - better range like noob-Uschi
    - more damage with light attacks
    - maybe speed of light attacks would be also an opportunity
    - less defensiv strength because of getting health

    I'm not even sure why his SB is getting nerfed

    Its 100% avoidable... Dodge backwards or commit a light attack... that'll disrupt his SB and his SB feint to GB... Warden isn't as OP as Conq, Shugoki and Nobushi... Especially F****** Nobushi and Peacekeeper... 4 bleed attacks from nobushi, an unblockable attack, one more top light bleed attack and you're dead... if there's a hero that DOESN'T need a nerf, it's the F****** Warden.

    Today is conq day

    ...dunno wich kind of conq you guys play but mine is a pretty offenisve one. and mine has more to open a turtle than the shieldbash. ...but to be honest I am mediocre

    Yeah i discovered some tricks as well. Yes he has some moves. But against good players you cant play very offensive because of your speed ( what is the wrong word for conq ;P )

    THe Conqueror is a strong character. But he is just defensive. And thats the point where people start to complain. " turtle blabla" He has nearly no offensive option that cant be dodged easy.
    I like the Conqueror and play him very much and i think also quite good. But it would be nice if he could play a little bit more offensive . =)

    A good player will parry ALL of your trys starting the fight with either light or heavy attack.

    This char is made to play defensive and in groups, Then he can use his infinite chain or the charged heavy attack. He is no offensive 1v1 character

    There are specific tricks you can do as a conq to be offensive but it would take to long to explain really.

    Also just so u know what I'm assuming u already know like most of us when Counq catch you in there combo rotation Shieldbash & Light attack or Shieldbash & GB & Heavy attacks they are unblockable/unparriable for more then 90% of regular players
