    As a PK main who gets spam hate mail even though I don't spam or cheap hatemail when I let someone bleed out and don't let them hit me when they are dying, yeah definitely feel you.

    Disappointing. No single word about the conq at warriors den today.
    So it looks like we have to live with it.
    Ubisoft don't like the conq.

    Im playing only conq since beta. Don't want try an other character.

    The conq has less moves then others. Just would be nice to have one move to have the chance to be less turtle and more an aggressive snapping 🐢.

    The thing is, Conq isnt broken or op. You can dodge and punish him very easily. On the other hand he can be played very skillfull and yes, be very strong. But He really needs something more than shieldbash light..... chargable heavy is a cool thing but useless in 1v1.

    Just to ask. Is there anything other classes have, thats useless in 1v1 ? Just curious.

    I know in the first moment it sounds op, but just adding unblockable to the charged heavy would be very nice ! Its still counterable because hey dude, you see, whats coming. But can bring us Conqs many situations, where we actually hit something with it ^^

    I will go on, playing conq, whatever happens. But it would be nice, to hear a statement from ubi . Whether they think this class is ok like it is or not .
    But maybe we dont hear anything, because they are discussing about this subject very hard^^

    I've seen some cases in games where people asked for the exact thing, more variety, less cheesiness... and when that happened, they didn't like it. Soon, they figured it was more profitable (and more likely for them to win) to be limited and dull to play, but still unpunishable. True story.

    It was pretty similar to the Conq.

    Was an archer type class in a certain MMO, and it had really weak damage and very limited type of powers... but at the same time, benefited from a really, really broken CC which would basically become perma-stun. So that archer class was like, one of the most OP classes in that game, and yet its players kept saying it's too weak, too limited, and they'd rather get the permastun fixed, and get their archer upgraded into something more cool.

    So that's exactly what the devs gave them. A class redesign in one of the major game updates, some really cool and useful, tricky archery powers... and then removed the permastunning mechanic.... and guess what... the whines flooded the forums.


    I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's not easy confronting one's favorite character's balance flaws. Everyone's keen to see what it sucks in, but nobody really seems to care about the OP side.
    That is correct. It is very difficult not to destroy the essence of being a conq.
    I don't want change it. I luv the conq as a defensiv player.

    On the other hand without offensiv strengt or an opener move a fight loooks like
    A good playing Enemy is afraid to attack the conq because of his defensiv and his counterattacks.
    So both are turning around in a circle.
    The conq cant attack and the other is afraid of get a counter.
    The fight takes a long time.
    During that for example other teammates or enemies are coming. A real 1vs1 is not possible in elemination, skirmish or Dominion.

    I want just the chance to start a fight. Atm there is no move for the conq to do that.
    He has to wait and react what the other is doing.

    Sorry my English is crap. Hopefully I could explain what I wanted to say

    Yep. Well spoken. Not that i try, playing defensive but you really cannot play very offensive. Your only opener is the shieldbash which easily can be dodged -.-

    There is something you forget. The game says " strong defense / Hard hitter " . Would this be correct : OK but its not. Dmg ist the weakest in this game on this character. If they want him to only be defensive then they should say it and change it in description^^

    I think i stop playing this game each game i have someone who says noob spamer etc each game but how can i play just to dye let them win so that i don't get insulted.

    As one of the top conquerors on for honor. I want to say to all my conqueror brothers out there that we are just gonna have to wear the enemy down. Mastering the conqueror requires a lot of patience and learning how to read people's attack patterns. Yeah, we do garbage damage, but we are a type of character that punish our enemy by their mistakes. You can annoy the enemy with chip damage or punish them for their mistakes by baiting. I won't go over all the baiting techniques, but just one that every conqueror should use when fighting a scared person. The mighty battle roar, the "RAH!". I've learned that if you play cocky people tend to under estimate the defensive capabilities of the conqueror when they start to either gank or push you. I've been saying this for awhile, a damage boost would be nice, but for now we just gotta use chip damage and GB heavy. Remember patience is KEY. For the conqs out there trying to figure out some conq techniques message my GT Saint Santana. I've been representing the conq proudly and refuse to give up on him despite his lack of offense. I bid you all good luck out there because all we can do is hope for change, but look at where that got us. For honor is basically turning upside down, characters that were least played and sought to be weak are now being buffed where as strong characters are being nerfed. Lots of people already mad about the fact revenge don't mean nothing. This moment in time revenge dependent people are loosing while the good players are coming out.
