Also I like attachemnts on firearms but sometimes these new gen modular rifles go overboard. Next year we will have **** like this probably ...

I like to keep it barebones as much as possible. Rifle, foregrip, and a optic. Im good with that.
HAHAHAHAHAHA, dude, where do you find this stuff?! Made my day.

The posp and I know that the russian SVD scope says that they are for assult rifles aswell as sniper rifles. Start a new character and look at them on the map. If you want to get down to the realism of it, marksman in the military will sometimes have a scoped AR, and almost everyone that has an AR here in Arkansas uses it to hunt with. (FYI, the store bought ones only come in semi-auto, you have to buy the upgrade kit yourself if you want full auto)

The designated marksman role as a whole was completely overlooked. 68 round limit cap on semi auto rifles commonly used for such work is ridiculous, so this would be one way to help remedy such a decision. The R5 would be an excellent rifle to use with a sniper class scope, if it had the trigger it should have always add, a semi/full auto instead of just full auto.

If there was any proff that snipers in this game are below standard in terms of range and bullet velocity its this post.

Now we have to put sniper scopes on assault rifles because their ballistics are better.

    Sad sad times for GRW

My thoughts exactly. Even though the Ghosts do not operate like a traditional unit, it should be up to us to choose how we want operate. even moreso considering that long-range shooting (I mean, really lonfg ranege, sniper-range) isn't really a thing in the game.

I tried digital scope on my MK17 today. I realized it was slightly misalligned, and I learned it "the hard way". Please give us real scopes

Yea the POSP says assault rifle and sniper rifle if you scroll over it's icon before you get it. Just like the t1 magnifier combo says assault rifles and sub machine guns. So that should be fixed.
I just don't understand why they thought a 6x scope should be the highest zoom needed in this game. Hell, GR future soldier 2 had 8x and 12x. It didn't have this huge open world either. This was a huge disappointment for me. Gunsmith should have at least two stock options for for EVERY assault rifle, if not all rifles. There should be specific types of ammo like armor piercing for example. They should have two extra classes of firearms: DMRs and SBRs(sometimes referred to as PDWs). SBR stands for short barreled rifle. Basically they are sub machine guns that a rifle bullet. The SR 635 would technically be an SBR because it shoots 6x35. Knights armament makes the weapon in case anybody was interested. One of the scope options should a 1x4 or 1x6 for assault rifles and sniper rifles. Ubisoft must have permission from Trijicon to use the model names of there scopes. The TA31H is a model of Trijicon's ACOG. Trijicon also makes the TARS, which had a 3x15 zoom ratio. I said all that because a perfect fit for the 1x6 would be Trijicon's VCOG(variable combat optical gunsight). https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/produ...t1.php?id=VCOG

In my opinion, being an unconventional unit would just further validate the use of designated marksman type rifles as they are capable of being used in a variety of situations compared to a dedicated sniper rifle.
