So I spent about 100 hours in the regular game, finished everything on Extreme and I was expecting Narco Road to be a steaming pile of poo. Remind me to never, ever trust a non-professional review on the internet again, the plebs couldn't be more wrong about this if they tried (then again it shouldn't surprise me as it's the same with just about every game).
Narco Road is a Lone Wolf experience from the perspective of the Santa Blanca Cartel: that means fast cars, parties, corny EDM music, ******s and everything that comes with it. Absolutely epic backdrop. Santa Blanca are your buddies now so instead of calling Rebels for support you can now do the same with Santa Blanca. The missions are a lot harder solo because no AI team = no sync shots for you. I've done only the first few missions so far, none of which require you to do anything with nitro or a monster truck, so you can play just as stealthily as before, there's really no difference to playing the normal game. Some missions require you to get someone out of car, which is easier with a big car than a small car (no AI buddies to shoot remember), but I tihnk it's all very fitting to the theme. So far I'm really enjoying myself.
Don't mind the naysayers, this is a worthy addition to the game. The only thing I don't like about this is that it doesn't use the entire map, there's too few weapons/skills and please, give us solo/lone wolf mode in the regular game too! I really hope the devs elaborate on this game mode and make it as big as the regular game, it's totally badass!
