Unlock tech? Feinting gb? Can anyone confirm this? | Forums

I've been hearing alot about "unlock tech" which I think means unlocking off of opponents and throwing heavies that are unparriable due to a bug.

I saw a Kensei do a gb into an attack, the gb never got countered. I saw the gb symbol then an attack indicator right after.

I haven't tested these things. Hoping someone can confirm this, or people can look out for it. So if they are real bugs we can get them fixed.

Though I agree, I think they're exploits. Ubisoft as far as I know has not made any statement on these issues. So until they fix them, its fair game. Some tournament organizers pick and choose which exploiits or "techs" are allowed, and most of them are allowed because either they're to hard to notice or prove that it was done on purpose

If I remember correctly, they said something about the GB feint during the last dev stream. So I'm pretty sure they plan on patching it, along with the light feint.

They said they were unintended and they would fix that. But they also said they might look into making something like that an actual feature in the future but would do it in a better way then the randomness it is today.
