Mine arrived last Saturday from my online retailer, not sure why they shipped it early, but I've been playing it since then.

SGW is a fun game, rough around the edges and it has some problems to be sure but all in all its fun! Its a murder sim, and I love those. The en-bludgeoning crunch of human skull meeting a .338 kinetic punch makes my willy go full salute. Also IMO this game has some of the best weapon detail ive ever seen. I can see serial numbers on the charging handle of some of these guns and the mac-tac looks almost real.

I took the plunge and am giving SGW3 a try and am so far quite impressed. I would describe it as a more sophisticated game, having less glitz and brass than GRWL and of course it is a lone wolf style game which is more my style. It has some rough edges, but it seems the dev is listening to feedback, so let's see if that brings forth some results. One thing is for sure, some of the beta problems reported on the various web sites are definitely gone in my experience with the game so far. Got to say though, disabling the bullet cam is an option I used, not my cup of tea.

I have also started playing SGW3 and I have to agree completely with you, fixer7267.

I haven't been completely grabbed by it as yet, as I'm still learning the basics and have only completed one mission so far, but there is enjoyment to be had here. I'm loving the sniping aspect of the game - it's far more satisfying than the sniping in GRW.

And yes, the first thing I did was turn off that silly bullet kill cam.

I might have to look into SGW 3. A few years ago I played a demo of one of those sniper games and it was horrible. It was set in WW2 i think. I really would love a good tactical shooter. But being as PS4 ithink my options are limited. I thought about getting Seige. It's on sale. But unless my buddies and can play bots with smart AI. I won't even consider it

Still on the fence about SGW3, reviews are not that favorable, but keys (including SP) can be had cheap...

It seems like options for a good Single Player PC First Person Serious shooter (it seems every game wants to have the Tactical word stamped on it so I am using Serious instead) is not as vast as some people think it is. I am hoping the rough around the edges will be fix soon-ish so I can give this game a go.

Meanwhile, I am un-dusting my MoH and MoH Warfighter games.

For consoles there just isn't much options man, so games that I wouldn't really consider tactical I do on the console because for the consoles they are tactical. God I hate gaming on a system rather then a PC. Oh well.

I don't really understand that much because my first Shooter game was the Original Ghost Recon and I played it on an Xbox I had purchased for my kids and the game came with it.

I used to think that Consoles were the problem or the culprits for the games being dumb down but now, I feel as well as realized the issue is more the people asking for the dumbest things when it comes to shooters and not so much the device. I still maintain that we PC players suffer a lot because of the game when it comes to hardware limitations but that is another point entirely.

I firmly believe the games are dumb down because people playing shooter games line up to buy cosmetic stuff more than stuff that is functional or that adds value to the game mechanics, you can clearly see it in this game with the beautiful world and the clunky mechanics of the vehicles and behavior of the AI. They rather spend money on looking good on social media by posting videos than actually playing the game. Others, are lining up to make the first video so they can rack up more views than to actually enjoy the game. I understand immersion but when you argue that you can not customize your gear even though going NAKED won't make a difference, I understand it but I cringe a little because I would also love it but if it makes sense to use it with the game. UBI and others notices this so they cater to those that want to be led by the hand and less to those that want to think by themselves.
