Hello. I'm going for the top percent in the midnight circuit. On the leaderboard I'm currently in the top 3%. However, I've twice beaten that time, the last time with nearly a second. But my last track times have obviously not been registered, seemingly making it impossible reaching the top percent. Will the leaderboard be corrected at some point? I've also tried logging out and back in. IPhone.

This may or may not be related to your issue: the ghost in Midnight Circuit is supposed to be ahead of you on the leaderboard (0.001+ seconds). Several times in this event I've raced against the right player but it was one of their previous ghosts that were much slower than their best time. So I ended up beating the ghost (and it looked like my time improved a lot) BUT in reality I never actually beat my previous best time.
When I actually beat my best time (no thanks to slow ghosts), it has been updated on the leaderboard and the % moves accordingly.

Thanks for the tip. You are right. The ghost was slower than it should be. I do not know what times I set against this slower ghost, but I cannot be sure it was better than my best registered time, so I guess not. At least this gives me some motivation for the remaining day of the MC.
