Just putting some ideas out there for the upcoming PvP.
I was thinking since it's going to be 4v4 tactical play that we could get a narrow map with a parade setting with civilians all in the streets and 4-5 buildings on each side of the street and a 3 or 4 story building on each end with alleys on the sides in between buildings. Each team spawns at each end of the street. Maybe have a penalty for killing civilians and if either team decides to go loud the crowd breaks into chaos down in the streets.
Another idea is to be able to choose 3-5 skills from your own talent tree that you've earn throughout playing the story mode (quiet running, bullet resistance, explosive radius, etc.) obviously take away the explosive drone but maybe add a drone with a flash bang option?
Just a few of some of the ideas I have. Let me know what you guys think.
I would like to see them add game modes where you can fully traverse the whole of Bolivia. Large scale operation type of missions. Like for example a TvT game mode where one side is playing as Santa Blanca and the other as the Special Forces, while one side is trying to destroy ammo caches and the other side must defend them. Or Hostage Rescue missions. Just some ideas but it would make Wildlands stand out from the crowd I think.
I mean, this map is so huge and so diverse. Why only use small portions of it?
I completely agree, a simple 4v4 and leaving it at that is wasted potential when you have such a large beautiful map. They should also add in game modes such as you suggested and include 12 v 12 and higher player counts if possible. Some of the PvP gods on these forums though, the ones who like to talk down on people with other ideas than they have, may not like these game modes. Kills, kills, kills! I sometimes create missions for my clan that plays Arma 2 and Arma 3 and therefore know how difficult it can be to create game modes, but it also has shown me that the things you can create on a large map are basically limitless. I think however large scale operations and missions won't really work in a peer-to-peer setting, which is common on consoles.
