    Warden, the UNSTOPPABLE Force

Wardens are in EVERY match where there are 4 players on each team. And if you're opposing a player who has mastered Warden you'll have to live through a nightmare. For starters their sword (from a realistic POV) is a heavy sword, and their attacks are so fast that it can't possibly weigh that much. (top light and zone attack for example) And for even more experienced warden players, they will shoulderbash cancell into guardbreak. This move is very op, as it gives them the option of either getting a free attack if you're hit by their shoulder, or a free attack if they guardbreak.

If we play out these 2 scenarios:
Warden shoulder bashes you, you try to either dodge out of his/hers way or block the incoming attack. You risk getting hit from their free attack after they collided with you with their shoulder. You now know what he will do when he/she charges up the shoulder bash move. So you will try to dodge out of warden's way.

Now, since the warden probably knows you will try to dodge out of his/hers way, he/she will cancell into a guardbreak. But since you wanted to dodge the shoulderbash you can't counter guardbreak the Warden since you just dodged.

These 2 scenarios shows us that you will have to pray that the warden doesn't cancell his/hers shoulderbash into guardbreak if you dodge, or hope that the Warden does cancel it and you're prepared to counter guardbreak without dodging first. He can choose what to do, if you dodge; the warden will cancel into guardbreak, and if you hold your ground and wait for the guardbreak the warden will simply let you get him by the shoulder into an attack.

So what can you do vs a very experienced warden player? If this is not enough proof that an experienced warden player will abuse this, the warden will also deny your top attacks. So you're options are to attack from the sides. You're VERY limited when playing vs a Warden player. This all together just goes to show how abusive and controlling a good warden is. And if that's not enough, the Warden is in every match, and is very easy to learn. If a class can have this much controll and power, the class should atleast be VERY difficult for him to pull all that off.

High risk, high reward. The Warden playstyle is low risk, VERY high reward. This needs to change quickly and balance out the Warden so those who only play Warden can't be as abusive as they currently are.

Either you remove the bash + cancell into Guard Break. Or you do the same thing they did to Orochi with his charge. Either they have to cancell it when they are standing still or not at all. And the transition between shoulder bash + Guard break is SO smooth it's pretty much impossible to react to unless you know it will do just that.

It's the most played class with the highes win% in the game! And they leave warden untouched! That, if something is partial. Warden is pretty much the favourited kid amonst the big family.

And don't comment saying "you can just roll out of the maelstrom". Yes I CAN, but you will lose SO much stamina out of it. The warden gameplay is TOO easy once you've learned it. Disgusting.

    Cry some more please?

I have a Reputation lvl 16 (soon 17) Warden, it's been my main char since the last Closed Beta and since all my stats are in the "positives" it's pretty safe to say, that i (in your own words) mastered that class. Yet, we are nowhere near as OP as you're trying to describe it, or rather want to make people believe it.

We have no instant Backflip-Hit like the Lawbringer, nasty Bonebreaker-Move à la Shugoki, which (in high lvl play) nearly one-shots you or that stupid Headbutt that the Warlord has on offer - we also can't attack almost infinite like Peacekeepers do, since we run out of stamina pretty quick - 1-3 hits or 2 parrys and the Warden's stamina is f..ed and if knocked back (as a result of that) you're open pray for free.

So to say the options to beat a Warden are very limited, is next to pure blasphemy - we are somewhat balanced and nothing more than that, but far from being invincible - if you wanna scream OP all day long, please have a look at Warlords, Conqs and Peacekeepers first.

And WE are the most played class? - lol, sorry dude in my Region (on XBOX ONE) 8 out of 10 Players seem to pick either Warlord, Valkyrie (used to be Nobushi before the latest patch) or Orochi - so thank you for nothing!

Warden, pk, conqueror, warlord, shugoki (unlocked) need a small nerf or rework. Hopefully will arrive in next patch.

Yeah, why not rework the entire game instead. Oh wait, just lets ignore the patching and skip directly to a new game - "For whining" Main game idea will be weak players to monitor all characters and to whine spam the forums that all classes they do not play with need to be nerfed or better yet - deleted.

    For the record:

Longswords were fast weapons and their weight was around 1-2 kg.

Needs a nerf. Period. End of story. Wardens vortex in the hands of a good player cannot be countered because of how he can adapt to any counter.

    Needs nerfed.

Even on console it can be dodged.

People simply spam sidestep after they got hit by a light attack and the cycle is broken.

No, everything else needs to be buffed aside from PK and Shugo, those need to get nerfed down to Warden Level. If we nerfed everything down to Nobushi Level this game would become pretty lame tbh.

So everything you can't just counter with the Press X to win button needs a nerf? - good night!

Gosh, this game really seems to house a gigantic bunch of whiners - how about you people learn to adapt? - as explained by DrExtrem (and that dude know's what he's speaking of, since we fought each other many times, due to being in the almost same region) that move can be sidesteped with ease, if you are not a complete smurf.

But sure crying out loud "Oh please nerf this, please nerf that, it is too OP, because i can't just press X to win anymore" is much cooler isn't it?

By now i have won tons of battles, but i also lost just as many for whatever reason, but do i jump on the Forums and cry out loud and complain about every sh... that doesn't fit my way? - the answer is no i don't - like i said, learn to adapt or get the hell out - i'm sick of all the complaining in this place.
