The Division isn't in the same league as Ghost Recon.
They both may look similar because of being 3rd person and having a cover system. But The Division plays like an RPG. You need to deal 400,000 points of damage to kill your opponent. Which gets frustrating because by the time you drop their HP from 400,000 to 0, the enemy can heal themselves 10 times. Running around like a headless chicken with self heal and ally heals...
And just because The Division had the Dark Zone where it was PVE&PVP in the same map does not mean it is going to be the same in Ghost Recon. So calm down.

In Ghost Recon if you don't actually take cover and decide to run around like a chicken the way you do in The Division, you're going to get killed pretty quickly. Which is good.
Blizzard took out PvP from which game? If you're referring to Diablo3, again that's an RPG and a totally different game genre. They made a good choice to remove PvP. But now they keep releasing higher tier gear and weapons to keep players grinding and grinding to find more loot. Ghost Recon is not an RPG and we aren't going to run around killing enemies so they drop loot to upgrade our boots so we can run faster.

If you don't enjoy PvP it's as simple as playing the single player mode and not going into PvP.
But don't come in here saying the game doesn't need PvP just because you don't enjoy it yourself. Or you're bad at it.
You can't compare a shooting game where you die in 1-4 shots to RPG games where you need to inflict damage over time to kill enemies and run around collecting loot. They are two different sports.

I believe I said I was not attacking anyone, so allow me to reply to some of the comments made here. Note: these forums have not changed a bit, still a lot of know-it-alls running around.

I'll tell you exactly why. It's for those who are competitive, and who need to measure their skills up against the best. You think you're good? Only PVP is the ultimate test.
I'm sure the lot of you are either close to beating this game by now, or have already completed it. PVP will always be the end measure of how high your skill is

The need to measure your skill. Well, everyone has his own definition of skill. I consider skill someone who can handle himself quite well in a PvP setting while playing as part of a team. Nowadays "skill" is mostly involving camping or rushing and having the highest amount of kills and the highest K/D ratio ever.

Nowadays people think teamwork is running around like an idiot for one purpose only, kills. If that sort of gameplay is what you call skill, than I gladly invite you to try something like ESL in a real teamwork oriented game. Good luck with that, I'm sure you would find it too boring or don't even know what to do. THAT dear sir is what I am talking about. THAT is the type of game play I am involved in almost every day. AND NO I did not expect this to be in Wildlands but considering what it tries to be I think it would be nice to have that. THAT is what this is about to me, dear sir.

To each his own of course, but I've been playing games online since 1999 (in both PvE and PvP setting) so I do see why people play it, but Ubisoft never made any PvP game modes that were worth playing for more than a week. Skill involves more than the average joe having the highest amount of kills, but hey, something other than that takes people way too much time so it seems so it's kills what it is all about.

You're trying to explain the colour red to a clolour-blind person. He won't understand.

Ghost Recon has always had multiplayer and Ubisoft multiplayer games aren't that bad as he seems to be drawing conclusions from his own sour experience.

As long as they have;
- Good netcode;
- Good multiplayer servers;
- Ban hackers on time;
- And introduce some exciting modes other than just 4v4, it will be great.
- 8 v 8;
- 4 v 4 v 4
- Battle Royal game modes
- Capture the Point etc...

Ghost Recon multiplayer isn't like COD or BF. It's not focused on TDM. It should be fun.

Anyone who doesn't want PvP is free to keep playing the PvE mode.

May I remind you I have been playing PvP for over 20 years already? Since 1999. And that I played many many different game modes? And many many different games? So yeah, you can shove your colour blind remarks, and the fact I don't understand because you can't be bothered to see the real reasoning behind what I wrote, up your arse for all I care. I was probably already playing online when you were still in diapers.

I think I know enough about playing MP. Maybe even more than you think. So before you open your mouth and release BS about me you better read things more carefully. Thank you.

Sour experience? You really can't read do you? I said the game modes were crap. How I performed there, or how my experience has been, is none of your business because it's irrelevant. Learn to read and see the reasoning behind what I wrote or next time just skip my posts. So here's a tip, if my post was such a waste of time to you feel free to skip it next time you see one. If you've got 20 years of PvP experience and you've noticed that The Division has the Dark Zone as a PvE-PvP mode, what makes you think Ghost Recon PvP would also have mixed PvE-PvP? In your 20 years of experience how many games have done this? You clearly aren't very bright are you.

Enjoy PvE and don't step into PvP cause you will be raging and coming to the forums to complain using all sorts of profanity like a little man child.

You again are missing my point. You clearly have missed the part where I said that if they decide to add it... That to me means I also did say that I feel this game does not necessarily need PvP but if they decide to do it I gave a suggestion on how they could do it.

Oh, and thank you for pointing out I have a brain disease. I actually do have a mental condition, which sometimes makes me act the way I do. And that is not me trying to gain sympathy here, it's just the way I am unfortunately.

If that however is how you end a discussion, that is fine by me. I am not speaking to you anymore about this subject.
