    How to beat PK consistently?

Whenever someone says just play defensive and parry, I just can't vs a light/deflect spammer. Against a PK who actually does something OTHER than light spam, as in bothers using GB and triple stab, tries to outfeint me, or heavies, I can parry that or CGB. Sure I've definitely won a few fights vs PK's, but only after they make a major mistake that I can punish, ie open with a heavy that I parry and just get to wail on them, or they're just straight up bad and I can just beat them down by starting off defensively and then going in

Against a PK who literally only light/deflect spams, I do not have the reaction speed to parry her. I won't use the fact I have 30 fps as an excuse, but no matter who I play, I feel so sluggish compared to her damn light spam. I main Lawbringer and Shugoki now, rep 4 with both and I'm trying to mix things up by finding a 3rd person to "main", leaning a bit towards the 3 vanguards (slightly more drawn to Raider and Kensei) since I'm kinda just drawn to the "weaker" characters...yeah ik I'm crazy), but I've been trying everyone

Meanwhile as a PK, I feel I HAVE to light spam, dodge, or parry. I don't feel the need to use any other attacks in a 1v1 and feel like I just lose everything if I DON'T light spam. Granted, I am only lvl 15 with PK so I'm not experienced enough to make all her combos work, but currently I just do not have fun as a PK light spamming someone to death

Heck, I also HATE 1v1'ing a Valkyrie with that damn leg sweep spam, but at least I can somewhat consistently beat her and the leg sweep spam by watching my positioning. But Valkyrie can't just interrupt all my attacks (unless I'm a Warlord) easily with a super quick light attack

On a side note, I swear like every 3rd PK I see is just an a-hole laughing at me and telling me "just parry the light attacks" and "you suck" or something along those lines

Well I play orochi and the only way to beat PK for me is to keep my distance. I totally suck at blocking the lights and parry is completely out of the picture. However dodging them is something that I personally find easier to do. So I just keep my distance most of the time and do my best not to allow them in the light attack range.

It is very interesting to me how do ppl block that light attack consistently... how on earth do you have that lightning reaction? Her animation is virtually instant.

Have a look. Top Light of Orochi is same speed as first Light Attack of the PK. But hell, yeah, PK is OP! Cause it has the fastest move in the game, it must be OP! Cause Zone Attack is damn fast, it is just always coming from your right side and costs half of the PK's stamina.

As you can see in the Video alot of Classes have 15 Frame Light Attacks. I'm a PK Player and I can Block these Moves regularly. Parry or Deflect is another Story, but a Block is better than taking the Damage.

PKs have no (virtually) animation starter of the hit, while other classes do have that one which is a helper if you observe properly. So it is not the speed only.

Did you have a look at the Video at all?? Sure there is an Animation starter on the second Light. It is just extremely fast with 12 Frames for the whole Animation.

Yes, I did.. .but that is from a standstill. Most PKs will constantly change the direction and in doing so the animation is not that helpful, to me at least...

Yesterday I have played a Duel vs the No. 3 Raider in the MLG right now. He blocked 95% of my Lights, parried about 25% of them. I'm playing on PC btw. So it is not "impossibruuu" to block or even parry PK's spamming Light Attacks.

Uhm, be like 18-22 years old and have a superhuman reaction? I'm 35 atm, and I really feel the difference in reaction time when I see younger people playing. It's all about "How many ms do you need to react to an input.". Hand-Eye-Coordination.

After that: Input Devices, Frames and Monitor. I'm playing with a Razer Naga Hex, Feint, GB, Guard Mode - everything on the side buttons. My gaming keyboard is a Logitech G13 (though I think a mechanical one would be even more responsive). Monitor: Zowie 144hz, with constant 150+ frames per second in Duels this is definitely an advantage.
