Daily and Contract Orders are nice, but I think that they encourage just general activity, not necessarily activities that make you better at playing the game itself. I really think that it would be productive for everyone if you folks centered orders around activities that actually improve your fighting skills. i.e. "Parry 25 hits" or "block 50 attacks" or "make 25 honorable kills" or something along those lines. I find that I spend time playing satisfying orders, but not necessarily improving skills through satisfying those orders. Completing matches is not winning matches. Capturing zones is not killing nor is it winning fights.
What's going on now rewards people who are not skilled. It boosts those people's ratings, armor, etc. Causing people who are not good to be "better" while those who ARE skilled are discouraged from playing the game because they end up getting wrecked by those who have better armor and less skills. This is a disservice to the entire community. Think about these sorts of activities to be rewarded instead of completing matches:
Parries-could even distinguish between parrying light and heavy attacks, or bonus for unblockables
Blocks
Dodging attacks
WINNING matches
Successfully defending a zone
Winning in a 1 v 2, 1 v 3, or 1 v 4 situation
Landing certain combos
Kills/Takedowns (these obviously already exist, just should remain, only good orders)
Bring your team back from breaking
Would be great for the game I think.
