What could the new trials game offer that would actually impress you?

Like the title says, i would like to know what people would actually be impressed by in the next trials game (not predictions). I'm probably not alone in thinking that on release, trials fusion was a step down from Evo. With no Online, fewer customisation, and a less than impressive base game editor object selection, it was fairly disappointing. I remember asking myself this very question when fusion released and thinking to myself there was so much they could have done, but didn't do. (And for the record, i do think that fusion has came a long way since the base game, i wasn't trying to hate.)

So... Here we are again. A new game is in the air, and the potential for improvements is massive, so here is my list of improvements that would actually impress me and make me feel like the new game is actually a step up from the previous:

    • Online Coop Editor
    • Online functionality for multiplayer skillgames
    • Improved track uploading system to allow a "beta" period in which the uploaded track can be removed within an allotted time frame

I remember hearing a while back that a coop editor and online skillgames weren't on the table, but maybe they will surprise me (i can dream, right?). Without these though, i really cant think of anything that a new trials game would bring that would actually be a real step forward from what fusion currently offers other than a new environment/objects etc. The worst thing they could do for me though is try to sell the game based on another horrible gimmick like FMX/the unbelievably bad unicorn bike.

I would be really impressed if they
ad a button to the menu called
"improve input lag" and it would
    communicate directly with your tv,
finding the best settings for lag-free gaming.
I mean really measure your controller-lag where the user press
a few buttons and move the sticks around a little, not just somthing that turns on the game-setting if your tv got one.
And a little report at the
end with some "keep this or that setting" prefered choises.

Every game in the world should
have this, trials could be the first.

Being able to remove your track within 24 hours or so would be a great feature.

    Tournaments in single player
Maybe a new medal that would be harder than platinum
a ANBA robot like the one in trials frontier. It makes people better at the game without them really noticing.

Mostly this would be just focusing on the speedrun side of things maybe it could increase competition and get more people speedrunning

Or at least make obtaining platinum medals as hard as in HD.

Nice, «waveable» Water. So it creates waves when you drop something to it and produces spray when a strong wave hits an Object.

    - a bike agile enough to deal with technical "trialsy" obstacles, rather than just a smaller version of scorpion/roach with high acceleration and stupid backwheel grip

    - medium/hard tracks technical enough to make good use of that^ bike, so the game feels something like a trials game

    - no fmx

    - no cheesy characters that add nothing to the game, no rayman, no rabbids, no pointless storyline, no shoot-em-up platformy nonsense

    - fully featured track central at launch

    - fully featured mp at launch not a year later

If it worked at least 75% of the time. That would be great.

Like the OP, I also can't think of anything to improve Fusion aside from the obvious (new objects, better graphics, etc). I can think of a lot of things that will make it worse though. All I want is another Trials. No stupid gimmicks, no FMX, no Unicorn. Just another great Trials game that speedrunners like myself can enjoy. Don't change too much with the physics and handling. Do fix the tyre glitch though.
