    #MakeConquerorGreatAgain

    With the latest Patch the Conqueror was basically nerfed into oblivion as we all know. While I understand why what was changed was done (making his Shield Bash punishable by getting a free guard break after dodging it, which is how it was supposed to be in the first place) I don't understand why other things about him weren't changed to make up for the loss of bascially his greatest asset. I was thinking what could be done to rebalance him a little bit at least and my thought was to give him hyper armor upon shield bash start up just like the Lawbringer has on his Shove. That would at least make the Shield Bash uniterruptable yet still punishable by a guardbreak. Another thing that would give him more possibilities would be the option to chain a Shield Bash after a light attack (or 2) too instead of just after a Heavy Attack. Last but not least being able to chain a Light Attack directly after a Heavy Attack would be another great addition to provide a larger variety of Mixups. All of what I mentioned would lead to the Shield Bash being less predictable and with that more viable again even though it can be heavily punished now. I don't think all of this would make him "too good" again but I think these changes would be appropriate.

    I agree, they nerfed conq so hard that it's literally dog ****. I cant even dodge and block at the same time anymore lol. If I do a light attack and it's parried, I'm totally screwed. I guess i'll just wait until they rework it but I will be off playing another game.

    I would also add the option to do a heavy after one light and also speed up those lights and heavys just a little bit to make superior on block a bit more viable. Because right now that move is really telegraphed.

    The charged heavies come out faster than the regular ones but still you have to wait until you block an attack to get a guardbreak into side heavy to initiate the chain or randomly shield bash to start it. I'd maybe even increase the damage of each light hit the longer the chain is or give him hyper armor after the 2nd light hit just like the Berserker. All in all they need to rework him from the ground up now basically

    I've suggested this on the Steam forum (Which is garbage, btw)

    Add a crushing-counterstrike type ability to the conqueror. Allows him to parry a left or right attack (maybe top, too). Superior blocks the incoming attack and then baps the enemy in the face with his shield, knocking them backwards. Deals no damage unless the shield-bash feat is equipped. Functions as a spacer. Also works on external attacks.
