If you saw iSkys vs LegionUnchained match you know what i am talking about. They were both wardens and that match involved no mixups or light combos or any combo, it was only shoulder bash and zone attack spaming(and of course is the unlock and running around). Now you will only see 2(maybe warlord too) guaranteed tournament finals character. They are Warden and shugoki. These 2 needs a bit of nerf and overthinking, because until they are fixed there will be no other characters that can reach the finals of a 1v1 tourney.
I belive that there is a simple solutions, get rid of any running attack. You can only attack if you are locked into your opponent.
And of course get rid of gb feint and zone flicker and soft feints.
