Bad / Cursing / Dirty Language Off Option Please? | Forums

Hi Ubisoft Forums,

I know that this may seem a bit odd, but could I please request that an option be allowed for people to choose whether they prefer foul language or not.

I understand that there are some who may be comfortable with the cursing, and generally "poor jokes" which the team members randomly speak, but I am a customer / user / gamer who would personally feel more comfortable without it.

I believe that a latest patch allowed the option to turn off radios, so I guess I would like to follow in that vain and request that the swearing, cursing be an optional setting.

Even if I could just mute my teammates annoying dirty jokes, which in my personal opinion, adds absolutely no value to a currently awesome game.

I hope that this request does not invoke comments from people who do not care about this sort of thing, or who would like to debate the "morals" behind it.

This is not a forum for debate, this is a request from an end user, to those who have the power to make changes.

I completely agree with OP. An "off" setting for the swearing would be a selling point.

You could turn off vulgar language and this would still probably be M Rated

Who cares about all of the blood, stacks of dead bodies and corpses hanging along the side of the roads. Those dirty words are too graphic and makes the game totally unplayable.

Sorry OP, you dont get to make a claim as ridiculous as yours in a game where you are consonantly surrounded by death and killing, torture and sadism. This is the exact kind of mental health I am talking about when I said people are more insane now then ever. How are you going to sit here and tell me the language offends you but the hapless murdering doesnt ? Your priorities are seriously out of whack. Ridiculous, pure ridiculousness! MOTION DENIED! UBISOFT please dont cater to this madness it only compounds it and makes it worse. That's a fair shout, how about requesting that you don't kill anyone and just round them up so they can have a fair trial and live out the rest of their days comfortably in prison at the tax payers expense?
