    Tech?

Could someone explain tech to me. I have never heard of this but it seems to be all over these pages. Does it stand for technique? If so these people are just ******ed.

    Tech
    (noun)

    1. Word usually used by exploiters and cheaters to feel better about what they're doing

    synonyms: cheat, bug, glitch, exploit

example in a sentence: "No no bro, it's not a cheat, it's tech, and I'm a pro player, not a cheater!"

This ... Poeple use bug, glitch and abuse them to win. Like the new Lawbringer Shove + guaranted light.

Wow. I'm guessing people here don't play fighting games. Combos were literally originally a bug in SF2 and the exploits you see everyday in fighting games would make the exploits found in FH seem tame.

So therefore exploiting a bug is ok...

Usualy every beat em up / fighting game got some kind of tricks by abusing a somehow broken or maybe intentionaly gamemechanic. As an example, Tekken is a 3D fighting game, a regular tech used is to get a hit in your opponents side which he cant block by regular pressing back, he has to press forawrd to make his char looking at you first before he can block. There are several other examples, like a cross over in SFV.

In for honor, we got a lot of these "broken" mechanics, like making moves unparryable or cgb while dodging, which are called by the com "tech".
(imo, it is in the game, so we have to deal with it for now)

We talk about unparryable attack like the Raider ZA which become unparryable if he unlock his target before doing the move.Unblockable attack were Never intended to be unparryable. Its a glitch / bug not a broken mechanic. There is more but i wont list them all

While I agree with you that free damage with spammable stuff just make the game a total sack of garbage.

Why Warlord can have free damage after the headbutt, but LB is considered exploiting ?

Uhhh yes. I thought I was clear. Did you miss the part where ALL combos are the result of an original exploit? That exploit made the game better. Unless you play in a tournament where that explicitly enforces rules banning specific exploits, there's no reason not too.

Even then in fighting games, exploits literally have to be gamebreaking to be banned. Most exploits are just added into the general knowledge base, everyone learns them and learns how to counter them. What's the big deal?

Because a Warlord need to land the headbutt, what you can dodge. Lawbringer just need a common action: block.
