Do the challenges have a reward to them? if not that kinda defeats the purpose...

Each season will have a theme, and each week in the season will offer different objectives. If you complete the difference challenges, it will unlock rewards.

Are we talking about those "tag 10 players" challenges?

I don't see any. Even on the calender where it shows events, it just says "welcome to wildlands" and clicking on it does nothing. On Ubisoft Club there's nothing under challenges either.

They haven't started yet AFAIK. But considering the current initial event ends today... Then again, maybe this will require title update 3.
