Just came back the other day since launch... (will they ever move to servers?)

Played 17 games over 3 days. I was allowed to finish just one of those games, while the other 16 gave me an error code, or the game froze after someone ragequit one time.

The wait times were insane, up to 50 mins per game! I still have a red NAT despite all the ports the game needs being open according to 2 seperate port checkers, and removing my antivirus and AVG protection, and buying PortForward and using it too.

Have broadband connection in Sydney, no other games give me problems.

Are they planning to move to servers yet? Whatever small benefit that was claimed P2P might have over servers really dosent matter to me, because I cant play, and would like to. Has there been any official response to trial servers on an experimental branch or something, or are they still doubling down with tweaks to the P2P, wich has seemingly gotten worse since the alpha builds we played months ago. Any official response yet? Cheers

I have never seen a game that started with P2P go to Dedicated ...ever. I doubt they will ever change but who knows Ive been wrong before.

Yeah the wait times and disconnects can be insane, has been a little better for me since the patch, but it's still bad.

I'm almost positive that they'll stick with their current P2P architecture and just continue to make tweaks to it. The game's low pop plus cost & time to make the switch to dedicated servers is not worth it for Ubi.

No servers, a long time waiting. Seriusly, I just gave up hope. If doesn't connect I just stick with bots.

Dedicated would not improve anything. Simple physics explain why

I had the same issue. For me the problem was with my ISP. I did not have public IP instead I had something called CGN-IP, and that messed with my portforwarding. Contact them and check if that might be the problem.

Just to be clear. They could not move to servers because that would mean to recode the whole damn game.

And p2p is the best option for fighting games as it removes one component (server), so there is less latency for everyone.
