New Minimap Display HUD Option | Forums

Please add the option to display the Minimap IN VEHICLE ONLY. That way hardcore players choosing to play without a HUD could use the Minimap in a more practical way. The Minimap would only display while driving and/or riding inside a vehicle. It would not be displayed while trekking on foot.

Imagine running back to your vehicle to "check" your GPS for intel!

Yes please. This is much needed. I only need the minimap while I'm in a vehicle so I can get to places. Once I'm out of the vehicle I prefer to have the minimap off.

That would one way to do it.

However, prior to that they need to allow for customization of the mini-map itself. Especially, the ability to turn on/off enemy threat icons if one chooses.

Thats a great idea. I was going to say they should give us the option to customize what markers we have on.So then I could just have on my navigation marker.
