Why Orochi is the only weak class that is left weak? | Forums

There is something which I don't understand... why the orochi which is totally useless in high level game is the only one left behind? Yes, they told us that a buff is coming our way later on but it means that till that day, we will be so much worse than before.

While other classes like Kensei get even more unblockables, we are again a class that doesn't have anything. The easiest class to kill is orochi.

Try playing some Raider and that feeling you ll get that moment. Is called helpless mate. Try it out some. Orochi is op compared to Raider.

Well actually I do feel you, raider is another class which seems to be on the bad side. In a melee his unblockable 360 attack is quite OP but in a duel against him it is not that useful. So yes, we can add the raider to that list of classes who are now on the very bottom of this game...

I feel raiders have a good pair of move that give them some tactics. Orochi has a total lack of good openers and the most of his moves gives freeGB. Actually his best move is zone attack. My feelings are the game it's getting too defensive and Orochi is a char based completely in counterattacks, with no control at all. I don't think his difficult use has a enoguh reward. In fact, valk it's, basicly, a orochi with super powers...

Orochi isn't weak ..
He feels just lame to play, whats even worse kinda ...
Did you see the statistics? He is roughly where they want him. He stands nice chances vs Nobushi for example, worse against PK - but she is getting nerfed, so Orochi is buffed indirectly. Just wait for the important balance stuff to happen, then they can care more about the "fun" factor.

Well, for me every other class is lame to play except orochi. They all feel like trees with super stupid moves. Orochi is the class that is the most fun to play due to his unique moves which have no alternative. Unfortunately these same moves make him quite predictable.
In any case we will see a change at some point but until then it is still a class that is underperforming against those unblockable spammers which drain your whole stamina in 1/2 combo.

His moves have a very long animation which is very distinct. I know what move will be performed most of the time. When I play against another orochi it is usually my most easy fight. It is one of the classes with the easiest moves to parry - that is what makes him weak.

Easy to parry? Every heavy strike is easy to parry and every light us hard to parry. All heavy strikes have the same parry window and all lights have the same ones as well.

They might come a bit sooner or later - but they come.

I wont lie but almost every other player now parries my zone and top light, plus gb is too easy to counter now. I main orochi and have 200 hours with him, played only him in closed beta and open beta. Btw When lb parries ur top light he does that overhead unblockble that does 51% dmg to ur health, so yeah orochi is in the dust now.
