Having a bunch of people who are playing dominion as a skirmish match kick you from the team because you are actually zone boosting sounds great.

Yes, please crash the game for 7 other players who are probably having a perfectly fun time playing because YOU weren't enjoying it.

If it wasn't for the rife P2P issues I wouldn't care, however it's incredibly detrimental to everyone. You say "let me play how I want" and "I don't want to be a punching bag" yet you just ruined everyone else's gaming experience, and bending their game for your enjoyment.

You just robbed myself and 7 other people of xp, steel, and about 15 minutes of my life because you couldn't take it.

You know what's not fun? Going into a duel with a rep 20 Orochi and watching them be the cheapest ***** to pick the class. You have no chance, because their experience with both the game and their class has far surpassed yours.

At that point, the only sensible option is to leave and try for a better opponant. There -is- a case to be made, to hold off on a ragequitting penalty before the matchmaking gets reworked.

The system does not give you the right to use me as a punching bag.
Pfft please, use it as a learning experience. I got matched against a rep13 raider when I had barely made it to rep one. For two games I got absolutely hammered, third game I started gaining ground on him.I hadn't time to do any more, it was a quick few duels before I had to do other things, but it is still one of the games I improved most during and since.

So when you leave your steel is literally taken from you? If not, you currently don't get anything when leaving right now anyway, so it wouldn't be different.

Even though I understand not wanting to fight against cheesers (because who does?), it would be better for them to fix the cheese rather than having a way to quit a game because of "cheese".
This would just lead to people leaving when you don't play the way they want you to. Basically having their own interpretation of cheese.
I think the penalty just needs to be really substantial to sway away from quitting in general. Not some kind of "you can quit every so often for a small penalty if you don't really like the way your enemy plays"....
Yes, your steel would be taken from you. In increasing ammounts, the more you leave, reseting once you successfully complete a match. And yes, the ultimate goal is to fix the cheese, but this is a competative game with a community hell bent on winning. People will exploit anything and everything.

If this penalty is implimented, I'd be fine with it. Once matchmaking is done, I'd be happy with this compromise. A small ammount of steel for the sake of technical issues, or geting out of fighting an unfair or suicide match, is a small price to pay.

Sometimes, the only thing you learn is that you failed, and you could not have succeeded. Git gud isn't an answer to this connundrum. And not everyone is as endeared to frustraiton as you are.

Your situation is not everyones. Like the rep 1 Warlord is going to have a great time, against a rep 13 Orochi. I have actually won matches like that, and it was usually because the opponant sevearly underestimated me. So what do I learn from that? Nothing, I learn they underestimated me and they wont do it again. Oh, and lets not forget the cheese. Rank 20 shugoki's anyone? Yeeeeeah, like i'm gonna learn to fight against that cheese better. Spare me.

All I have to say is that rage quitters are crap and shall be playing togheter, not with 'fair' people who simply want to enjoy their game with other capable players.. (IRL/connection issues apart)
And yes in my opinion they shall add a kick poll inside matches.
I'm not the one who ganks in 4v4 modes usually, but still I had to LEARN how to menage combats standing alone vs 2/3/4 people at the same time, and if I did it, you can do it aswell, takes PRACTICE THAT's ALL.. Doesn't mean I always win but even if I loose I'm not the one who leaves god damned it! I mean where's your honor when you quit a game? Think 'bout it.

    Totally agree

When i loose in a good match im proud of the winner becouse he fought good
But when i see some annoying noskill dudes spamming sidesteps and all over the same coward combo i leave the match becouse im not there to be theyre punching bag

People quitting when they don't have a good time is perfectly fine. It's a game and you play it to enjoy yourself. You don't pay a random guy on the street $60 to rape you in an allyway either.

The problem is not people quitting, it's the god awefull p2p system ubisoft uses. The amount of crashes i had here surpases that of BF4 at launch, that's an accomplishment i tell you. Don't come with "fixes" if the problem lies somewhere else. Get servers, problem solved.

People already get punished for leaving, the whole match was a waste of time since you don't earn anything, and are probably frustrated as well. Seems more than enough to me if these terrible p2p matches wouldn't crash all the bloody time.

Rage quitters should be punished as severe as possible.
Dominion/Skirmish/Elimitation 4x4 @ 30 minutes of idle time and combined steel amount of all non-bot players if rage-quitter was a session owner.
Just, Ubisoft have to make an effort to properly distinguish between rage quitting and other disconnections.

When you are connecting into "Player vs Player" mode, you have to realize that you have another human on the other side that wants to win as much as you want.
I am connecting to any PvP mode knowing that there might be rep 70 PK that would destroy me.
I am OK with that - I connected to PvP mode knowing there are kids that play much better than me.
We both paid $60 for the game, we both spending time to play same game, we both connected to the same mode to test our skills vs human players.
Who the kcuf are you to waste my time when you are rage quitting?

There are special modes in game called "Player Vs AI".
You can go there, rage quit, "RAH", "BAH", knees, spam, do whatever you like.
You can be a winner there 100% of the time.

EDIT: or just disable quit button for session owner.
