You cannot base "how you want the game to be" looking at how many matches do they win or lose cause you DONT COUNT THE SKILL OF THE PLAYERS WHO PLAY THAT HEROS! THATS NOT BALANCING FOR GODS SAKE!

That's a STATISTICALLY stupid statement that I can not believe that you, Ubisoft, that make millions and millions of dollars, don't know about!!

You have abandoned Orochi and Raider, for that "super cool data" you collected instead of looking to the fights directly... Pf, fking company. Go study some Statistics to a university, because you clearly need it.
Wow, you're a new kind of "special"

It can be used, but it means the game will be balanced around the average player.

Since it seems Ubisoft wanted this game to be a competitive one, it IS stupid to balance the game with datas coming from average players, that are in no way relevant at higher and competitive play level.

PS: that's exactly the mistake they did with the PK balancing. Your average Joe loves to dodge and dodge-attack, thus UBI saw that too much damage is coming from that Attack. But at higher level play, PKs hardly use the dodge Attack and destroy everyone with with lights and ZA. By making dodge-attack less relevant, UBI actually made that problem even worse since PK will now rely even more on lights/ZA. PK that dodge-attack are my favorite kind, since I can bait out parries and destroy them.

They need an entirely fresh set of eyes on this. Its said you rise to your level of incompetence and I think we're seeing the adage expressed in spades. PK wasn't adjusted in the ways that matter and berserker hyperarmor doesn't touch the underlying issue affecting the class. So the balance patch finally release and the two extremes of the balance problems are functionally in the same exact state they were yesterday.

UBI - You need a new balance team if you want your game taken seriously.

Yeah PK mains have been saying that about the nerfs for the last week though they did add in the patch notes they have taken note of that, so there will be more coming which I, as one of said mains, am not going to complain about because on console at least thelight attack stuff is ridiculous. On the other hand they did also say that they intend to as well as nerf her, buff other characters. The ZA did need something doing to it to fix the UI indicator bug and to deal with how monstrous it is in revenge.

In terms of balancing around the average player, they did say on that stream that they know they have a lot more to do to base it around the top players because most of those match ups are out of the 45-55% range in terms of win/loss,some of them quite badly,i think I saw one or two 60% plus matchups there. They want to get everyone to within that range in both average and high level play and then look at matches that are in that range but boring like the warden vs raider I believe their example was which is fair enough.

Thats not true. You cannot use as a primary source for your changes a global database, because I can promise you the playerbase SKILLS for each hero DIFFERS A LOT: For example, Raider players are probably better players (more skilled) than Warlord players, hence THEY HAVE A GOOD WIN RATIO, but their character sucks. And I could say something similar for Orochi.

Im going to go right now with an example for "kids":
1 battle: 1 elephant with a hammer vs 1 cat with a stick. The elephant is average, but the cat is a f*cking god of my videogame. The guy that is playing with the cat does a lot of super cool moves unexpected with a lot of mind games, and he defeats with his stick the elephant that was a little newbie. As cats are harder to play, usually you only see pros playing my game using cats. And their ratio is not so bad, so: Me, being the developer of my game, instead of giving the cats a long lethal spear, I say: "Okay cats are more or less cool with the stick, lets leave them like that". "Same for elephants, they lose but not so much, maybe we should give them a bigger hammer or something? Mmm I'll talk about it and discuss it in the next stream" -----> SERIOUSLY, WOULD THAT LOOK LIKE FAIR BALANCE TO YOU???? OBVIOUSLY NOT. Any good guy playing an elephant smashes anyone with the same or similar skill playing a cat, but as elephants are so overpowered they are not a challenge to good players to use them!

Now apply the same to Orochi, Raider... And actually the whole game balance.

He also uses shouty capital bold letters and insults the people he wants to listen to his leading question poll and his whinge, I mean that always worked on the playground.

You are talking with a superior degree at Enviromental Sciences... I know what I said, you can be sure of that. And I promise you its a complete bullsh1t their way to balance the game, now believe me or not, I do not care, as the game will be fcked anyway.

Hahaha What a troll.. You have no idea about how hard you have to study to become who I am. Anyway why do you even care. We are here to talk about what Ubisoft is doing... Not about my life.
