No, they have no idea about what "balancing" really means.
Yes, using the general data of all matches instead of our feedback is right.
Are Ubisoft developers really basing his changes in the win/lose ratio from the heros instead of the real gameplay of each one of them? SOME HEROS ARE "ONLY" PLAYED BY GOOD PLAYERS WHILE OTHER HEROS ARE MASSIVELY PLAYED, AND OTHERS ARE PLAYED MOSTLY BY NOOBS!
You cannot base "how you want the game to be" looking at how many matches do they win or lose cause you DONT COUNT THE SKILL OF THE PLAYERS WHO PLAY THAT HEROS! THATS NOT BALANCING FOR GODS SAKE!
That's a STATISTICALLY stupid statement that I can not believe that you, Ubisoft, that make millions and millions of dollars, don't know about!!
You have abandoned Orochi and Raider, for that "super cool data" you collected instead of looking to the fights directly... Pf, fking company. Go study some Statistics to a university, because you clearly need it.
It doesnt matter the data you have, if you dont know how to treat it. - Statistics' basic statement.Originally Posted by Specialkha Go to original post
Dont talk if you have no idea about what you are saying boy, go back to study.
Are you ****ing kidding me, Im not getting paid to fix this videogame neither have any kind of database from Ubisoft. BUT IM STILL CLEVER ENOUGH TO SEE THE SH1T THAT THEY DO BASING HIS CHANGES ON GENERAL DATA!!! As a scientific that I am, I can assure you that that is, statistically, WRONG. You just can't do that. It's plain stupid changing a videogame over general win or loses instead of going one by one checking the skills of the playerbase for every character!Originally Posted by kweassa1917 Go to original post
The poll choices suck and are utterly biased - being blunt with this.
I think their approach to balancing is a smart one. They listen to the pro's. The look into match data. They read what's on the forums. And that's real issues as well as crybabies concerns. So honestly, try to get your stuff straight and if you poll, do so seriously and unbiased for a constructive discussion.
Just because Orochi and Raider are not OP does not mean they need a buff...
Orochi is a pain for probably 80% of the player base. Between the Zone Indicator Glitch and the "Feint Light" into GB exploits, he needs more fixing then buffing.
Same goes for Raider..He has an unbloackable and unparryable attack when you unlock guard during the swing. I also think theres another bug with him but im not sure. I havent been playing or looking up on him. So he also needs to be fixed before hes buffed.
And yaid say Win Rate means alot more than what the 1% of top players are doing. Lets worry about the 99% first.
As mentioned on the stream, this is one of the many things looked at. They mentioned it today but also in past streams that they consider things like actual gameplay, feedback from players, high level play, tournaments etc along side data.Originally Posted by corazondedelfin Go to original post
