so i just read the new patch notes, as well as i downloaded them , it was around 1.7 gig. wtf is ubisoft thinking yeah i get making the game more balanced with the heroes abilities and attacks etcis good, but how about starting with fixing the games connections from the very start ? someone i spoke to told me this patch was the fix 4 vs 4 gaming, i was like fk yeah ! i can finally enjoy the game to its full extent, now that iv seen the notes its disappointing as hell, does anyone else think that ubisoft has gaven up on the whole game connection issues such as crashes/errors to join game? and when someone leave u get stuck with another message saying reconnecting(i forget) but a lot of the time if 1 person leaves u get that error and have to alt tab and re enter the game..
We have new **** in game! Very long awaiting of match in queue and "matchmaking error return to main menu" after... After patch i just played a 2 gamesand spend already around a hour in queues... Green nat, no problems with that in past. Great ****ing job UBIFREAKS! I'll Never Ever BUY you ****ing freaking ********!
Everyone thinks it's 4 people that program a game. There are separate departments for each aspect of the game. People doing the netcode are not the same people doing the balance fixes, which neither are the ones creating the new executions, emotes, head gear and none of those are involved with glitch fixing/error fixing. It's a large team people and there are many departments. View the credits and you'll understand how many people it takes to make a single game.
Hi there, folks!
I'd like to leave a link to a new series of articles from our game page. I hope it will make folks feel more connected to our long-term goals for For Honor!
First is the link to the initial post of 'This Week In For Honor' from the 30th.
There was another post made on the 6th!
I'd also like to leave a paragraph from the first post that speaks to the questions I've seen raised in this thread:
As a Producer, I assure you that our devoted team is going full force to address the situation, and we will continue to be here for the long term. Our top priority right now is stabilizing the game experience. Our top engineers have been working to address connectivity and matchmaking issues since launch. On top of that, we are working on balancing our Heroes, making sure our upcoming content is easily accessible, and bringing back the maps we removed. Those maps were the ones showing the highest rates of desync, and we want to re-introduce them progressively after our testing. Speaking of that, we are happy to bring back River Fort today and hopefully we will re-introduce High Fort as soon as possible. (Stéphane Cardin, Producer)
Finally, I'd like to say that our support team is here to help anyone with individual technical support! Other than these forums, we can also be contacted on Twitter, Facebook, and over on our support page.
Thanks!![]()

game is more and more unstable. Every patch you release is it worse! Months after release! I think you and your whole team do a bad work! Just look around how many problems ppl have! Tell me which another game have so many promlems?! ... NOONE! ... or mabye some Indie games (created by students) in beta stage. Question: Does your team is experienced enough to handle it? ... I think not ...

I hate to say it but this game is disappointing and I had such high hopes about it when I heard this was in the making a few years back. Initially I didn't understand the hate but I get it now. You guys made Assassins Creed which was awesome for a little while, but then in Fall of 2013 you released Black Flag which was good for a little bit... everything after that was piss poor. I didn't even have to play the rest is the sad part! There was so much outcry from long term fans like myself that it wasn't hard to make a judgement. You guys used to make good stuff then something went wrong.
If your company does not realize their mistakes it will fall. What do you think is going to happen to EA? Do you guys think that making bad games is a good idea? Or has your company devolved into the degenerative slop that is the bane of our gaming community? I have been a gamer since I was a child and it pains me to see this happening to something I love and spent time enjoying to unwind after a hard day at work.
I get that people are asking for bigger and bigger games and that as such there are more pixels and computer stuff that can have errors/bugs. Personally certain gaming companies need to realize that doing this over and over again harms your reputation severely. Another thing to note is the influx of give us money to unlock this cool stuff! I understand that companies like Gamestop severely harm your profits by reselling them most times near cost. But money grubbing is not an effective way to run a business!!!
What we want is better games that are finished! If it takes 3 years to make it it doesn't matter if that means the game will be incredible. You know how long its been since I have had a game that truly sucked me in??? Over a year and that winner is Dark Souls 3 because they are focused on making amazing games (the universe + being a series fan help). Why has it been that long? Companies like Ubisoft and EA are too focused on money they forget about quality. I took a stint playing Witcher 3 which is amazing but yet to complete it. If I complete it my journey will be over too soon and I will have to dig through the pile of crap at Gamestop to find a great game! That is how bad it is bro.
You and your colleagues need to show all of these to your superiors and sit down and have a long hard thinking session. With how things are your bosses cannot keep doing this. I am happy to see the For Honor community taking a stand and boycotting it to get your attention. I hope this is not the last time this happens, hopefully not with Ubisoft again.
Alas, I cannot ramble forever. Just know that this is truly saddening to see something you love warped to such a sad extent.
with deepest concerns,
Rawrr Imma Bear (PS4)
