I assume future DLC will utilize the existing map for missions. So, how will that effect the overall map in regard to enemy spawns and locations?
Will new locations be added that never existed? For instance the footage of Narco Road rival gang sites.
Just curious and thinking out loud.
Any insight from the mods welcome.
I made a post about it.Originally Posted by RHAIN07 Go to original post

New Campaign =
Completely new map void of initial release content?
or
Current map with current content (locations, both cartel & Unidad) + additional locations (i.e. towns, bases) & new enemies?
Like i said before the dlc's are going to be new campaigns is confirmed by Ubisoft.Originally Posted by TiMeSpLiTIITeR Go to original post

It states narco road has 12 new missions across four provinces.

So, it basically comes down to.
Either, gutting original provinces & repopulate with different enemies/locations tailored to DLC, or adding four totally new provinces.
If it were an add on to our existing campaign, using provinces that already exist in the game, then I could see us using our current characters in the expansions. But if they are seperate campaigns as suggested, it makes me think that if we get to use our current characters at all, they will have to be imported into these campaigns. Which probably will mean that they cannot be imported back if we wanted to play around there with that character. We may even be required to make new characters for these campaigns. I guess unless one of the Devs want to fill us in on some of this, we'll have to wait until more info is released later down the road on these things.
