    PK side heavy after GB

    Good Day Folks,

Couldn't find any thready with this topic so I though I'll create one.
I play PK and currently struggling to figure out if side heavy after GB for PK is guaranteed or not. it seems to work sometimes, but not all the time and I just can't figure out if I'm just too slow sometimes or what. help me out if you can please

PK has no "guaranteed" move during GB.
You should always go for the triple stab. People can block each stab however it's very difficult. Either the person is lucky or very skilled to consistently block the triple stab.

You can also knock someone into a wall for a free FowardDash+Heavy (the jump and stab) followed by the poison after any heavy.

Her best combo is GB->Double Stab->Kick into wall->Jump+Stab->Poison

^^ Why does all of these sound wrong.
    - Afaik the blocking of the tripplestab was a bug, and in Duels/Brawls nobody will have a feat to stop the bleed. (wardens)
    - The regular heavies for every heros deals something between 25 and 35 damage, the bleed deals 40+ so not a bad option at all.
    - pk got several highdamage combos, the one you posted is not the highest one. double stab, dodge, regular heavy + stab deals more damage and works as well.

I'm asking because it's really hard to get executions on PK. side heavy after GB works maybe 40% of the time so it's not consistent enough to be viable. does anyone know the conditions for the side heavy to land after GB?

What? is this a serious response? Triple stab has always been blockabale...since beta..just have to time each block right.
Never said her GB punish wasnt good, but its not guaranteed thats all. And a side heavy is not guaranteed to clarify for the OP. PK has no guaranteed heavy during GB.

And what combo are you talking about? Double stab then dodge? regular heavy? Unless youre assuming you double stab->knockdown->regular up and heavy after having to dash forward? That is more damaging but not very different from what I said lol. Only difference is mine only works when kicked into a wall, and what you explained only works if you knock them down, assuming thats what you meant.

in some instances it does seem to land tho and I'm pretty sure the opponent is trying to block it every time, might be if you catch your opponent during specific recovery frames or something. anyway, I'm now interested how do you block the triple stab? just refresh the guard in the same direction and time it properly?

Ok serios...i am sure you cant block the stabs, you could do it in beta, and it was called a bug. I am usualy following every streamed tournament, i also posted a bunch of recaps and havent seen anyone blocking these stabs since release. So how there is obv something you know that we dont.

@rhino: Yes executing can be tough as pk. There is no regular option.

No, I'm pretty sure you could block it after the release for some time. not sure if that's the case right now since no one blocked my stabs for quite some time, but after release I played zerker and sometimes would block PKs stabs accidentally. I didn't understand how I did that though, seemed a bit random.

It is 100% for a fact a feature in the game. Unless you have a friend to test this out with, its very very hard to predict and pull off.
And its not very practical to try and learn the timing to block each stab. PK can slightly change the speed of the stabs depending when you press the action to stab again. Theres a little room for error in the timing of the stabs.
You dont see pros using it all to much because as ive said, its tough even for pros. Ive block a stab I think maybe 3-5 times in over 2 months?

If you throw someone into a wall then it is a guaranteed heavy.

Otherwise, her dodge heavy attacks and lunge attack are solid, fast ways of landing heavy blows.

Many times people will get aggressive when they see they will bleed out. Often times they will open themselves up to a dodge heavy attack when this happens and allow you to execute them.
