    It actually says it's bleed damage right in her moveset too lol. But yes gitgud applies here, viper's retreat is the same as a light attacks and can go any direction even though her actual animation does not correlate to the direction the attack. Watch the indicators.

    But to be fair. The dot was (and on console still is) glitchy as f**k.

    He probably got the dot, without being even hit.

    On a side note: Every attack should have an animation for every possible attack angle.

    as a nobushi user, that's viper's retreat but that thing in the video seems like a bug.

    That needs a fix. I've been playing with UI off since day one and no wonder I have a hard time parrying that skill. The character's animation needs to reflect the appropriate direction. Totally not fair for people like me.

    I'm guessing a lot of other characters have skills that are like this?

    And here I thought I couldn't handicap myself enough by just playing Orochi.

    Come on, Ubisoft.

    Playing with no UI is a good point. AFAIK nobushi only character with a skill like that. I actually thought it only attacked top and was surprised at how it was getting blocked by players in side guard.
