Turn off AI Team Teleportation Option

As the title says, can we have an option to disable AI teleportation? Following that, this could also allow us to tell our team to hold position and they do not move until we tell them to.

This also will help prevent breaking immersion and stop them from popping into areas that may compromise your stealth approach.

How they break immesersion: I was sneaking along a wall and turned around to see where my team was, and only saw two. When I turned back around, the third was now in front of me, coming around the wall from inside the base, despite there being no way of him getting over it.

How they compromise your stealth: While remaining quiet, I had told my AI team to hold position. Once too far, however, the AI teleported to my position; one of which teleported into the building I was next to and opened fire on the enemies inside.

PLEASE give us an option to turn off AI teleport and make them Hold position indefinitely until ordered otherwise

Except the teammate AI invisible to enemy NPCs. They cannot be spotted, unless you've given them an order. So by telling them to hold you're making them visible to the enemy NPCs. Just ignore the teammate AI completely, don't give them orders, and they won't cause any issues for you on stealth.
I have a problem with them reviving me. They wait until the circle is half way empty to revive me, even if they are standing right next to me. I have actually grown to HATE my AI teammates, but I love this game. I want to turn them off....and to be able to kill them like i do the rebels for betraying us.

If you had read my explanation as to how they can compromise your stealth approach, you'd see that that wasn't the case. =\ Despite giving a Hold order, they still teleported in and triggered the enemy AI.

@postwick Just happened again. I've just spend 15 minutes stealthing my way around a compound and picking off sicarios (AI Team has been ordered to hold). Next thing I know, the entire compound is on alert. None of the bodies were discovered, I certainly haven't been spotted. Nope, it's because my AI team decided to teleport closer to the base and although they're supposed to be "Invisible" (an odd mechanic if you ask me) one of them happened to teleport out in the open and get spotted. This is what's driving me nuts.

@MrBibbles I think you are not understanding postwick's point. do not give them a hold command By not giving them a single command, including hold, they remain invisible. I ignore my order wheel until I actually want them to open fire. By ignoring my order wheel, there are hours of instances where my AI teammate will actually be 4 yards out in front of a cartel member, walking backwards, following the cartel member's sentry route all the while never being spotted.

I sometimes just hang out in my drone view seeing if and when they will get spotted but they never do - unless I have given them some kind of order. Sometimes it causes doubt so I just order a quick "sync shot" to take the cartel member out without alerting anyone. Because even sync shot by strictly AI never seems to ever cause an alarm, even when enemies are very close to one another. It is definitely a weird mechanic, but one that is simple to exploit.

Understandable. I would consider that broken. If I order my team to hold position outside and away from the base, they should remain there until I change the order. If an enemy AI wanders out toward their position and finds them, that's one thing. But, my team teleporting closer to my location and compromising my position is another. Not giving them commands and letting them do their thing so they're undetectable is a joke, predominately because there have been reported moments where your AI team is in the open with cartel walking right in front of them.

It's not the giving them orders that makes them detectable that I have a problem with. It's the teleportation that I have an issue with. Certain broken/poorly designed game mechanics I can ignore, but the teleportation is making it hard to do that. Alas, I can't say I disagree with Postwick's advice. It sucks and I hope they consider giving us the option to turn off teleportation.

I'd be all for the "Beam me up Scotty" option for the AI teammates and make them disappear from planet Earth. But I suppose they have their uses.

This invisibility is not broken. Devs got many complaints about getting spotted because of the AI teammates they solved this problem by making them invisible until no commands given. Now they can even walk among the enemies without being spotted, which is a bit ridiculous but better than before. It's still not a proper solution but they needed something fast before the release. In beta AI teammates ruined almost all the stealth approach because they have been spotted.

I actually had one of my members bump into a cartel member, who promptly moved around my team member. It does break immersion. Ideally we would be able to give exact orders to individual team mates and not have them teleport unless you go beyond 600m or so.
