Every time I play Wildlands I have to re-create a character as my previous game save is missing. Each time launch the game I have to start the campaign over with a new character. after playing for some time 1-2 hours i exit after auto save and when i re launch the game my save is gone and have to start over again... PLEASE HELP THIS IS VERY ANNOYING!!! I have checked the game save folder and have three files (1.save, 2.Save and 2.save.TMP).

Having the exact same problem... i sent ubisoft like 5 emials and no response.

Do you have "Cloud Sync" enable in the Uplay Launcher. If not then, it could be looking at you as a new player each time you start. Fix has already been posted here by ubisoft. Just do a search for it.

did that still nothing happend every time i enter the game it deletes the progress

j'ai le même problème, aucune sauvegarde même si l'icone en bas à droite dit qu'il le fait, obligé de recommencer un personnage, nouvelle campagne etc....c'est pénible!!!
j'étais à deux doigts de boucler une troisième région et tout à refaire! haaaaaaaaaa :furieux:
par contre mes stats dans le jeu incluent les succès remportés, les morts etc....allez comprendre!
un mail à ubisoft pour le signaler, pas de réponse pour l'instant!
à ce prix là, c'est très très pénible!!!

Same thing happened to me today. All saves gone. I had discovered around 70% of the map, had a ton of missions done. Cartel wasn't doing so hot.

After all those hours and then this happens?! Plus, I felt VERY insulted when googling the issue. I saw dozens and dozens of pages about it. What does Ubisoft say? "A few people are experiencing issues with lost saves". Seriously?

Ah well. It'll be years before I buy a game from them again. Not being dramatic. To me its no big deal to avoid a company's games. This is entirely unacceptable.

I have already posted my opinion in another thread, but just for the sake of keeping these complaints coming, yes I too lost my savegame with around 60% of the game completed. And most importantly, with the weapons and mods found that I wanted which the game doesn't start you with for no reason. Of course, the legendary Ghosts only have access to three weapons from the get-go, and not even a sniper rifle, the rest they will have to find in the AO... Sigh...

Anyway, I honestly feel like this is a massive insult from Ubisoft to a considerable part of their playerbase. Their cloud save mechanic obviously doesn't work correctly, and I have found threads mentioning this accross multiple games (WatchDogs2, Assassin's Creed, Wildlands). And they do not even take the time to take a stance on this issue. No, instead we get some dubious posts that are basically like "Yup, your save's gone. Sorry 'bout that mate."
You would think any reasonable company with a cloud system that has had issues in the past already would be keeping secondary backup files of the saves. Especially considering that, for example in case of The Division, the save files carried over to the Test Servers for new updates.

And before you even ask, I did indeed apply the "offical fix". But my cloud save has been entirely replaced/corrupted.

If you are not able to provide a reliable service for these things, and even go as far as store the saves in the Uplay folder instead of personal documents (of which I believe many people do make backups), you really disqualify yourself for any future purchases from my side. Sorry, just had to let this out once more.

I still hope there is a faint chance in resolving this issue, but I do not really believe in it. I suppose it goes to show how much they care, given that the official accounts on the forums here do not even respond in any kind of caring manner to these threads.

So, I had two games from Ubisoft installed on my computer. Wildlands and Far Cry4.

First off, on my computer UPlay has never been able to connect to the Internet. My Cloud-system never works and I can't even download updates when they're available! And yes, I've downloaded UPlay time and time again without ever working correctly as it should. And I do have a pretty good Internet in my apartment.

When I FINALLY was able to download the latest patch on Wildlands, it completely erased my save files. And the same happened to FC4!

What is going on here?
