Another (actually the second or third "another" since my last post).

For a while I thought turning gsync back on had solved the problem as it didn't happen for a while (a tip I came across randomly on reddit, in a post completely unrelated to game stability, GG Ubi customer service).

But apparently not. It's cropped up again.

It doesn't seem to actually lock the computer, but does lock the screen in black. If I alt-tab it requires a full restart of the machine. If I ctrl-alt-delete twice (why? I dunno, cause Ubi) the task manager will finally appear and I can force quit the application. It's happened in Dominion and at least Skirmish and/or Elimination. I can't rightly remember for sure which of the two latter as this friggin bug has happened so many times I've lost count.

Ubi technical stability and customer service, you are bad at this. Your inability to deal with this, and your complete lack of acknowledgement of the legitimacy of the issue, is an impressive failure in both your "games as service" philosophy and your customer service departments. One of the worst stability and service experiences I've had in gaming, and from a AAA developer to boot.
