The freezing used to happen to me quite often, as well. About 1 match out of every 10 matches, the game would freeze up.

But recently I got my PC cleaned out, installed a new power system, took the GFX card apart and cleaned it thoroughly, and also installed a better cooling fan. And then, I updated to the latest GFX driver. So the list of actual changes I went through is:

    - cleaned dust and gunk
    - new power
    - new cooling
    - latest GFX card driver (Nvidia)

It's been 3 weeks, and not a single freeze!

After this, I'm guessing that it mighthave been because FH is demanding for your GFX card, so either the GFX drivers, or perhaps temporary overheating.

Thanks for trying to help. Computer is decently clean. Drivers are up to date. Power supply is running fine. In fact, I've not had anything remotely like this as a problem for any current game. This is a problem on Ubi's end.

And there's another. Full machine lock up this time.

    Fix your game.

Do you guys have the habit of pressing TAB to check your score after the game ends? More specifically after you hear "VICTORY" or "DEFEAT" but before the game displays the scoreboard on its own?

I find that for me dominion crashes like 100% of the time if i press TAB during that window and it never crashes if i don't press it.

Had to actually manually shut down my computer to get out of it this time. That makes maybe the 4-5th time I've had to do that, on top of the probably 10 other times it's frozen but I could fortunately force quit out without having to do an entire shutdown.

You know, sometimes when I give Ubi a hard time and wonder if I'm being a little too hard on them, they serve up (a continuing string of ) moments like this. And then that feeling fades.

    Games as service. Ubisoft.
I'm not sure what could be causing the problem either. I'd strongly suggest opening a ticket with support so they can help you troubleshoot and doublecheck that your specs are up to snuff, that it's not due to a Uplay glitch, or a bad PC security/EasyAntiCheat interaction, etc.
Also, if your NAT type is anything other than green - it might help to go through this connectivity guide just to check off all the possibilities.

NAT is always green. I am not actively running any security software. I easily meet the minimum specs. I have tried different graphics configurations all the way down to the lowest possible settings on everything.

I do not like you moving it off the general forum as it lowers the awareness that this major bug is still going on. Not a lot of traffic makes it to this subforum.

I'm not pressing TAB. It happens randomly. When there's activity and when there's none.

    Hi UbiNoty,

Has it occured to you guys that this issue is related to the stability issues introduced with patch 1.03?
A lot of people, who weren't having that kind of problem before that patch, reported right after 1.03 that their game would freeze at the end of Dominion/Skirmish matches and between rounds on other game modes.
It was believed at one point to be caused by a memory leak and the issue was aknowledged by your team. However, and besides the leak being suppposedly fixed with 1.04, the Freeze issue has kept happening ever since.

I myself am affected by it : I can work around it for dominion matches by changing CPU affinity between sessions (not 100% working, but I can usually play 2 or 3 matches), but I've been unable to play any round-based mode since then.

Point is : those issues are caused by a change introduced with the 1.03 update; I get that asking for reports and such is part of the job, but providing an actual follow up on this problem would be more than welcome at this point, given that you most likely have enough material to investigate it.

The absence of communication on this matter makes it feel quite vain to keep reporting the issue after all this time.
