I know Ubisoft doesn't believe we exist but some of us enjoy playing with a great variety of characters. There is an undeniable gear handicap if you're not playing with Heroic gear. Currently, from what I've seen, there is no way to get such gear without reaching rep 3+ on each character you want to gear. I currently have all twelve available characters at Rep 1 but it's rather frustrating to know that I'm playing with a handicap in the majority of modes.

I have the simple recommendation of after reaching a combined rep score of sufficient level, the minimum rep to get Heroic gear on a different character be lowered. For example, if I have Rep 6 combined, perhaps any character could salvage Heroic gear with a Rep 1 or higher. This alleviates some of the frustration of playing a different character for those players who have a main and want to try something else and it allows players like me who play the whole gambit a chance to be on somewhat equal terms. Honestly, I'd rather just have the option to play all game modes without gear stats in multiplayer but I don't see that as likely so this seems like a compromise that wouldn't completely undermine your gear system.
