Dumpster divers in pve survival are really getting annoying

this subject is on pve survival and more so on the survival caches being public drops.

Yesterday me and a couple of my friends decided to play a few matches in survival. we extracted successfully all 3 matches. but there was one disturbing situation that occurred over and over and over, every single time it tilted us me. i even sent the user a message and he reported it getting me a warning.

the situation was that we would be clearing a landmark kill every single non elite npc and then run up and 4v1 the named npc. well the reoccurring issue was that there would be these dumpster players that would just sit there wait for us to kill everything and take our survival cache after doing 0% of the work. it is the worst feeling possible to have the most important part of survival stolen by a guy that didn't even help just sat back and watched. in fact this has made us feel to the point of hating and thus were done with survival until 1.6.1 who knows maybe this will be addressed wink wink.

one solution we discussed in a party chat unbiased and reasonable at least we think so is to do something like this. create a container with 100%, put the named and all the elite npcs at that landmark inside that container. make the 100% be based off there combined health and attach a argument saying that if this group does 51% of the damage then the survival cache is private to that group only.

let me be clear i only want this change effecting the survival cache, idc about anything else because none of the gear weapon drops are a problem currently. although it is a bit tilting killing 5 red with a pistal and having your loot stolen but its not the end of the world oppose to your survival cache being stolen.

please let me know what you think

I have a better solution: play PvP Survival. Then when someone tries this, you shoot them.

Or if you want to be an absolute git in PVE. Wait till the player goes to extract. Pile in and cause multiple hunters. Then take it from his corpse.

Very true. Turn about is fair play.

Been said many times: Give us an option of single player.

Sooner or later, it's going to have to happen anyway.

Doesn't PvP Survival have it's own lame cheese moments, like you suddenly get shot in the back, when fighting NPCs and stuff?

Only bad players get shot in the back, that said I think googlebright was saying go do pvp as you can kill the **** who stole your loot instead of sending hatemail lol

And then suddenly realize it's a good player just quickly plowing through the weekly reward (20K points) and he just disposes of 6 Hunters by himself

Anyone can get shot in the back imo, but it happens way less when you pay attention. Also making sure you approach NPC's carefully and minimizing the damage they deal to you helps. A backstab is always easier to survive at 90% health as opposed to 30%.
