Open Skype conversation this weekend on the upcoming game....

Oozie, Vantier, Xample...come to mind initially, but anyone in the US is welcome.

    Sunday, April 9th...2pm PST.
Please PM me your Skype name and an invite will be sent your way at 2pm pacific standard time.
I'd prefer people in the United States to eliminate lag, etc.
The chat will be recorded and put up for many to marvel and study.
The conversation will consist of a few topics, but primarily...the future title.

I'd like to limit it to 3-4 people, plus Trash. At least 2 to start it up.

Also, add you name to this thread if you pm me, as I don't sign in much.

This Sunday, April 9th 2pm PST!

    Thanks.

Not all at once...please. My internet connection almost just exploded with all the PMs from the overwhelming response on a 3 year old title and captivating idea.

227views...no takers? haha. Maybe I'll wait for some announcement, then there will be more to converse on.
The excitement of a Skype chat talking about a game that hasn't been announced is too much to handle.
Yeah, I know you're reading this Oozie.
    Must revive....ahh, fist through face.

Im down but Oozi would pretty much say anything that i would have to say so ill just let him take my nonaforementioned place. :3

Besides nobody in the (video?) conversation would understand any of the sign language i use, except Oozi. Because i taught him a few. Such as "Oh hold me tight. I want you inside of me. I want your babies. Is it in yet?"

I'm offended and intrigued. So, you gave Oozie a "private lesson" for sign language. It seems like something he asked for.
The Skype chat should be on for the near future...near future in forum speak means many months. I think we will wait for the announcement of the game, then go from there.

I read somewhere that we should hear something by the end of Summer.

Stooks...I hate to say it but a Ubisoft employee said we should be hearing something last September. So, basically they were off by 7 months. I don't listen to anything that's said now. It's a heartbreaking story

Seriously though...how can you be so disorganized to not know when information will be available. You would think it's someone's bridal party....embarrassing.
PR has never been great since Ubisoft acquired Redlynx. They used to be great with filling fans in on what's happening. For a mainstream shooter....where there is a lot of competition, etc...it's understandable to keep quite...but for Trials?
You could have a post here citing a release date, concepts, etc and literally nobody would know outside the forum. It's like protecting fake nuclear codes. If they get wind of what were brewing...we will be finished I say.

NDAs are part of any big company, so it's understandable nodoby is giving out information. Just be a bit more clear on specific dates. "We will have news on the new title June 6th." Etc. much like the Scorpio specs. It's just not that hard to be clear with consumers.

When we have information we can share...we will? That goes without saying.

Throughout all the negativity, especially in the months after Fusion's release, I was always defending RedLynx and the game (I even defended FMX, and still stand by that), but this is something that has bothered and confused me since Fusion was announced. There is an absurd amount of secrecy when it isn't even warranted. I'm not saying they should tell us everything right away. There is an art to timing your announcements and sometimes those timings have been spot-on and amazing, but sometimes holding back just doesn't matter. This isn't Assassin's Creed 12 where they need to time everything perfectly to compete with the latest Call of Battlefield: Duty of Warfare 14. I suspect, due to the hardcore fans, there is more benefit with being a little loose-lipped on these forums. It won't affect the outside world too much so the hardcore fans can have their minds set at ease and still benefit from a perfectly timed announcement to the outside world. Unless the new game is still at a stage where it is in danger of being cancelled or is horrendously delayed, of course.

EDIT: After my attempt to be facetious above making up a ridiculous sequel number attached to popular franchises, I got curious and looked them up. It turns out Assassin's Creed already has 16 titles and Call of Duty is now on their 14th. Granted, they aren't all sequels, but that's still a bit excessive.
