Easy Fix for All the Revenge Controversy

I love revenge. Allows for some sweet comeback. But it also creates some cheesy behavior.

The single thing wrong with revenge is the knockdown effect it has. Remove knockdown behavior for headbutt, shield bashes, and anything of that nature.

    Revenge mode Knockdown
    1. Throw - Keep this. All revenge throws should knock down your opponent. You are vulnerable to other attacks while throwing, so their is risk to the user

    2. Parries and on activation - Keep this. A nice ingredient for turning the swing of the fight and no abuse found. I also enjoy the mind games of trying to feint players to activate their revenge.

    3. Headbutt, kicks, shield bashes, and anything else I'm forgetting. REMOVE THIS Getting knocked down the first time is fine. The problem is that there is no way you can break out of repeated knockdowns. Ruins the feeling of a great fight. I know you can dodge the first initial one, but one bad dodge leads to 10 seconds of unrealistic obnoxious play.

Maybe the fix is you are immune from a revenge knock down for half a second when standing up. But his may cause more problems and maybe more difficult for the developers to implement. I don't think any character would suffer from the removal of character special moves revenge knockdowns.

Doesn't really solve the issue at all I'm afraid. If I stack revenge gaining gear with a low duration and high attack on my warden, orochi, and a few other characters I can kill you before you can stand up after the revenge parry effect. Essentially all I have to do is defend a few hits and then I can insta-gib someone.

Normal non-stated revenge is fine, but shouldn't proc in 1v1 imo.
