ok so i just got M1891 Sniper Rifle from La Cruz Province,
why i can't mod silencer on this sniper rifle ???
is this a glitch ???
if not, why it's the only sniper rifle i can't put silencer ???

make sure you don't have a compensator on it first

It is not a option, the suppressor is not listed
Either they forgot to implement, or they did for balancing out the guns

i think they just forget about it.
since there are a lot of other more powerful sniper rifle with have silencer option

edit: can we tag/call mod and tell them they forgetting to put silencer on this one ???

Even though i don't really mind, this brings up another problem: a lot of the weapons in this game serve no other purpose than furnishing you gunsmith menu. Not that I don't like having the vast choice they offer, but with the game having a stat system, some guns are objectively better than others, and everyone ends up using those, while others are objectively not as good, and end up being forgotten and never used...

I've had this problem with the handguns: I don't really like the loo of the USG, but if you really want to have the best stats, it's the only real silenced option.

After thirty+ minutes of research, I could not find any place in the internet that sell a suppressor for this gun in real life. The guns full name is the "archangel m1891" it is a modern variant of the Russian sniper rifle originally designed prior to ww2 and has seen action from that era even all the way up to relatively present times.

This specific modern variant must not have a suppressor modeled for it, yet, as far as I can tell. However I could be wrong.

If you're sniping, you're probably over 150 metres away, which means no one can hear you anyway. Enjoy the boom I say. Is there a reason for putting a suppressor on a sniper rifle in general?

are you sure if we are 150 meter away from the enemy, they won't go suspected/hunted ???

archangel refers to the polymer stock that you can put on your mosin nagant. like this one

however a mosin nagant CAN be suppressed as well as almost anything else. Here is a video of exactly that. Ignore the stock since that isn't an issue since the gun is the same thing but with different furniture on it.
